I've given up trying to switch from Avro now and will just have to wait to see who the new supplier will be, info is very sparse…
Not as sparse as you think…

  • I have just noticed the email from Octopus went into my spam folder. I know absolutely nothing abut Octopus, having a quick look it seems they are one of these green companies, I really don't understand why Avro has been shifted to them, I would have preferred it to be one of the major suppliers like Eon or Edf. I will just have to wait and see what happens next. I see they mention not to cancel the direct debit, afraid that was the first thing I did when  Avro collapsed, although they do mention it will be ok to start another. Life was so much easier when Gas and Electric were Nationalised and you went into the shop to pay by cheque or cash

And potentially others like me are quite happy going to Octopus, no big issue though just switch when all the dust has settled.

LOL..  Worded that wrong, I don't have anything against the Green  suppliers, as long as the price is ok, and they are reliable I'm not bothered what they are do. After some thought I have decided to just stay with Octopus, and keep fingers crossed they survive
