When you get a quote on the 25th of September then that's the price you pay, regardless of the date your switch is completed.

Today, EDF's Standard Variable single-rate electricity tariff for monthly DD customers in the Southern region is 20.68p/kWh and 24.11ppd SC.

I was in the middle of a switch from igloo to Avro. Avro took the initial dd payment of £51 on 22 Sept. This payment doesn't show on my online account. I do have confirmation of the payment on my bank statement. Hopefully this will be enough when the sole is appointed.

For an Avro account I have access to, a payment was taken on the 21st (as confirmed by the bank) but it didn't show up on the old site until yesterday and the new site until today. So, it seems the backend processing is still operating but it takes a few days to update the front end. Naturally I've taken some screenshots and printouts for evidence if needed

For the time being I'd screen shot your payments page where the payment doesn't show and keep a copy of the bank statement where it does; then just keep checking and take new screenshots if (when) it does update.

I have just managed to get a screen shot of how much my account is in credit along with today's date and time but can't access the statements on my phone.

Exactly the same for me. In my case the 21st was my first payment.

I've given up trying to switch from Avro now and will just have to wait to see who the new supplier will be, info is very sparse,  I have downloaded the info showing we were £148 in credit, along with the last few months statements, hopefully we may get this back but somehow I very much doubt we will ever see it, even though it says Ofgen sort it out, I can see it just getting swallowed up. One thing for sure I wont ever be switching to a small company again for anything

Octopus has been appointed as the SoLR for Avro. Your credit balance is fully protected by Ofgem. PS There is no such organisation as Ofgen.
