How did you manage to get old statements? I can log in to the portal and they've put a message up saying that theyre "experiencing a large number of logins" and I cannot see me old statements or current balance.Bullet500 said:Have resigned ourselves to a very long wait, I did though manage to get into my Avro account this morning and download some statements, the last being a week ago, and details on the tariff we were on, it was also showing we were £148 in credit although I cant see us getting this back for a very long time if at all. Bit miffed I have to wait so long to hear from our new supplier, I am very tempted just to do it on my own, I will give it a week and if nothing happens I will do my own transfer. In future i cant ever see me switching to a small supplier ever again, its not worth the risk.

I don't have any statements yet but I managed to see confirmation of my first DD payment just now, I screen-grabbed it.0

I have heard that British Gas are taking over Avro.0

I used this link I found online, it worked ok, i downloaded some statements and the page which said I had £148 in credit. Have tried to sort out new provider myself this afternoon, couldn't get them to accept Avro as my supplier, will try again later on. I cant say I am impressed British Gas are taking on Avro customers, I moved from them to Avro after issues with payments, and refunds from over charging, although I believe you don't have to stay with them and can move straight away, should I not manage to transfer myself I would definitely be moving to another supplier ASAP

Will try to download my bills from the links provided by previous posters - thank you for that everyone. I know I am in credit but have a direct debit due tomorrow which I think I will cancel as I don't want to tie up more money on my account than necessary. Is there any disadvantage to doing this that anyone knows of?Bullet500 said:Have resigned ourselves to a very long wait, I did though manage to get into my Avro account this morning and download some statements, the last being a week ago, and details on the tariff we were on, it was also showing we were £148 in credit although I cant see us getting this back for a very long time if at all. I'm not waiting. I'm switching myself before the prices go up again on the 1st Oct. It might take a bit longer for me to get the credit back that Avro owe me but so be it. I'm going back to Octopus.Bullet500 said:Has any Avro customer heard anything from Ofgen yet, I'm beginning to think I should look at switching myself0 -
It's the 25th of September now and it takes at least 14 days to switch. In effect the prices have already gone up.LippyDoodle said:

When you get a quote on the 25th of September then that's the price you pay, regardless of the date your switch is completed.QrizB said:
