Well we tried to become debt free last night by paying of the CC.  Tried being the relevant word because between limitations on the app, chatting to AI and the only real person spoken to being completely confused, we abandoned the idea, in favour of trying again during working hours, DH is taking the day off before we go away so might try then.

The main acc is odrawn which I was aware was coming. Looking through the months transactions I can see some transactions that should strictly have come from other accounts so I may sit down tonight and move around. DH is receiving a bonus this month which is also a huge help.

Last night using what was left of my wages I cleared the o/draft in the main acc and put the rest in my savings. This morning 2 lots of wages plus a bonus have been paid in. The money is sat there waiting for us to pay everything off, and become debt free . Just need to find the time to get the transaction done.

And we are DEBT FREE as of about 10 mins ago. No mortgage, no CC debt, no o/drafts,. We go away tomorrow night with DS for a mini-break. Here's to the next chapter.
