Are you crazy?
You compare a CRT picture to a 1080p picture and you have a completely difference viewing experience!!!!! There is no reltaion at all!
If you watch SD on a 1080p tv what do you expect?[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -
?
You said the quality is no different between CRT and LCD.
What i'm saying is.. if you put the 360 into HD mode on a new tv, there is a MASSIVE difference. And if you don't, its no worse than CRT.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Virgin cannot even provide a stable SD service, they are no hopers, and of course they are limited by cable.
.
You don't know what your on about, the current cable tv system has something like 800 MHz of bandwidth, how else would they be able to provide hi speed internet and all the on demand stuff . If they wanted to they could deliver HDTV easily but it would mean cutting back on the 100s of on demand !!!!!! films they would be able to pump out.:rotfl:Nothing to see here, move along.0 -

Thanks for the info on the product lifespan.
I'm baffled on the Freesat though. So there will be Freeview, Freesat, Sky, broadband, and cable all carrying BBC and ITV in 'normal' and HD ?
