Musical Theatre done.. we had a bit of an issue.. Squeak was too anxious to sit in the circle of children so was missed out when the script was passed around for each to read a piece so she got all upset.. then we went to swimming and she all upset because she thought she had missed her turn to swim so became inconsolable.. Dot was behaving horrendously and we had to remove her from the pool and get her dressed 10 minutes before the lesson ended. She went absolutely hysterical and was biting OH and screaming the place down. I am so glad they are all tucked in bed now.

DW been on twice, WM has been on with swimming stuff and I wiped over the hob and transferred the stuff from the left over to the right one and found beasties in there so i had to clean it before I could do anything.

I am now knitting.

Morning all

Yesterday was a combination of busy and relaxing. I have had a cuppa so far today and make the children toast. They are playing their TT Rockstars games for school.

I have written myself quite a list - both for today and the coming week. I am waiting on the outcome of a few things, all of which are out of my control, so I must relax and take it as it comes.

Today is all about football, a roast dinner and leaf sweeping. On that note, I need to go and mix the batter for the Yorkshire puddings.

Blimey Pigpen, when your kids have an off day, they seem to do it in style, good job OH was there to help you, I hope you have a calmer day today.

It is drizzling here.

Not a lot going on here, general daily stuff, F1 this afternoon, to my shock OH is planning on going out on his motorbike, some how his keys seem to be in one of my draws, to ensure he doesn't it is far too soon,  it is a big bike, chemo starts again this week it might be the final round, but he cannot even walk to the end of the road yet, so how the hell does he think he is going to hold up a bike his big, anyway he has to find the keys first, and it needs to stop drizzling.

I slept in a bit this morning, so definitely a slow start to the day. I have folded yesterday’s clean washing, had a cuppa, need a second, then might be fit for purpose. As I copped out yesterday, I might have to brave going to the allotment later. It hasn’t rained here still. Mr M is due to deliver later, if he makes it.

I really must get dressed.

Hugs, sticks and spoons all round, especially Round and YL. I hope Ionafan is ok. Xx

Good morning!
I have laid in bed a had a cuppa, whilst making lists (that is flying, isn't it?)
I have a list for today, and a packing list for later in the week 😁 
Parkrun yesterday, then later I had to go to town for (another!) opticians appointment as I was not able to order contact lenses in my new prescription without having a lens check! I told them I couldn't see properly when I was driving, so they fitted me in 😂 My glasses were ready, so that saves me a trip Monday, and I now have plenty of (free) daily disposables to try out 😁
Today I need to do more washing (2 loads done yesterday), and general tidying/cleaning. I also need to do a few hours at the allotment.
I need to put aside some time to try out my make-up! I don't wear it every day, and not that often even if out - only special occasions! I want to get it right, and I have some new stuff, so I will have a trial later 😁 How girly!! 😂😂

A slow start to the day here too. I'm on my second brew, I've eaten toast, my bed is made, and I've read a while. 

Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds 
Put out the recycling 
WUDUPA the bowl of pots that didn't get done yesterday 
Put dry washing away
Put the airer away

That'll do for starters.

Happy birthday Valli 🎂 🥳 

I am up & dressed. The bed has been stripped - right down to the base! The old mattress is in the hall, and the new mattress has been unboxed and put on the base. Bedding is swishing. I have emptied my wardrobe onto the bed, and DH & DS are manoeuvring said wardrobe so that wallpapering can be finished. Then the painting can start! (we have used lining paper). We are getting there 😀 
I have just had some breakfast and I am thinking about my next step...
