Hello XX
I am doing similar with the garden, we should have a gardener but I can't justify the expense so am going to do it myself, I am hoping i will make it as easy as I can for me to maintain. and I guess you would do the same re cleaning, time is precious!Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
I too was disappointed by the ending of Pieces of Her. It had started so well! I also found the daughter extremely annoying! Such a wet lettuce for a supposedly 30 year old woman!»The road to DF is long and bumpy » Greensaints3

I think the cleaning plan sounds like a good idea. We have a few of the "do not disturb/please make up my room" door hangers snaffled from hotels - perhaps DH and DC's could use these as well 🤦♀️1

@[Deleted User] a good plan re nursery! Well thought through, as ever. I agree 100% with your decision to avoid relying on MIL, as all this would do would be to add instability and stress to your lives. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx2

So, sold the 3 things and got £85. Thought I'd also sold 2 other things which would've been another £45 but sadly time wasters - why do people do that?!
Had to pay £16 for an address change for car insurance. And we needed some bits from WR (including a toy DC2 snaffled, I bought it and now he's just thrown it with all the others(!)) so that was £16.86 (obvs included milk though our milk bill has def reduced now DC2 no longer having). My subscribe and save items are about to come out (nappies, wipes, more bear paws) so we are just under a quarter of our actual budget or a third of our ideal budget with 3 weeks to go.
We did a financial reccie - the balance is good but it's just not increasing as we are constantly buying stuff for the house. Now we need paint and a new carpet for what will be the playroom plus storage solutions. But we can't just move in and go, right, we're not going to do anything at all, as we need to make it a nice place to live.
DC2 down for a sleep, DC1 at nursery. I've just had a cup of coffee and a millionaire's shortbread and am watching series 2 of Departure. Leftover tart from stores for lunch. And there's a yellow stickered veggie cottage pie from the freezer for tea.
Didn't sleep great last night (again). I went up to bed at 1920 but DC1 was in our bed and just would not sleep so was about 2030 before got to sleep - then he came in our bed at 0415 so was drifting in and out of sleep from then until 0630.1 -
