You really need to check with the CCBC where this is at since 2021.

And make sure the CCBC has the right address for you, if they say the case is 'stayed' because it can be resurrected by the Claimant at any time.  Forever more, you will have to tell the CCBC if you move house if there is a stayed claim hanging over your head.

    Horrendous, isn't it?

If there was an old address in play, then there is a danger you already have a CCJ so you must check.

I have moved house but just recently, anyway just next door and I have still got access to my previous letter box so this is not the case I hope.  I will try to contact CCBC soon and asked what's happened.

How many private parking court claims have you got at the moment? There are three with three different parking firms in the top dozen or so threads on the forum first page thread list. Why are you acquiring so many private parking charges? They are so easy to avoid!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just for un update, I have contacted CCBC and been told that the case was not dropped. So I’ve asked why I haven’t received DQ. The person said that it will be send asap to my email.
Did not really received an answer but I’ve finally received this form.

Hello everyone. I have to open another account some time ago because my previous was suspended. I don’t really know why, I’ve tried to log in but it didn't work at all.
    Anyway,
Update, the court case will take place on 5.01.24 therefore I’ll have to prepare WS soon.
I’ve received an email from UK CPM stated ‘In accordance with CPR 27.9 our Client hereby gives notice that it will not be attending the hearing’ however they have filled WS.
In the WS they also stated that ‘the
Claimant would like the Court to note that the Defendant is using, for the most part, a generic defence which can be found on the internet’.

Could I ask for any advice with regards to my WS?

What is your Witness Statement and evidence filing deadline?
    Don't miss it.
If the Claimant has already sent you theirs, it's a good bet that your filing deadline is very very close.

I have never received any information with regards to this subject.
I just recently received an email saying that they have filled there WS and they will not attend.
    Is this normal?

What told you "the court case will take place on 5.01.24"?

Look again at your Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.
Is there not a paragraph something like:
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
    Might be on the back.
Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence.

    Errr, you have.

Either on the first Notice of Allocation once it reached your home court months ago, or on the back page of the Hearing Order.

Your deadline will be very very soon.
