Working from bed sounds super awkward.
Hope you're on the mend.5 -
Prompted by your reference to PB win I logged in and we have each won another £25 in the April draw. No emails yet but you can view your premium bonds and then expand wins and it is there. No message or emails though.
By the way, if you have more than £5k in NS&I and you die, NS&I demand probate, even between husband and wife, adding delays and costing between 2-5% if a solicitor used; according to the Money troubleshooter in The Times today.

I know someone who had that experience with PB. Shocking. It cost her £800 to get a solicitor's letter to get her £.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We went to a lovely spa hotel for 3 nights, spent a fortune and bought an original art
<- less than £200. It was great fun, but my leg was still a little sore (pretty much better now in walking around terms) and DD infected us all with the cold
We have agreed a quote with a builder to start our loft conversion during the school summer holidays, just waiting for the amended version of the quote as we added a few things missed from the original like additional painting, fire doors and mains powered lights in the eaves storage areas. Excited!
Debt repayment is going great (due to an accidental £2,000 payment this morning there's less than £2,800 left on the CC). I blame the N1ght Nur5e.11 -
Glad your leg is finally improving. Great news on the loft. Ouch to the accidental payment. Good the £ was there to pay it with.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sounds like you had a great time. Lol at the accidental OP - I did the same with my last mortgage but that was due to chatting to the guy in branch whilst he was carrying out the transaction; I even had to sign the slip and still didn't notice it said £1,500 instead of £500.
Great news on the loft and getting a date, from reading your diary I recall it's been a bit of an epic journey to find a good builder. I think school hols are earlier in Scotland aren't they? I'm thinking June / July instead of July / August in England.8 -
Haha at the Night Nurse!7
