We use this Desiccant Dehumidifier - it's quiet and small with a timer and several humidity settings & it turns itself off once the desired humidity level is reached. Worked wonders when we lived in the converted hop kiln where one particular stone wall was always cold and damp! Now we use it mainly to ensure winter laundry loads dry quickly and the 60's kitchen/bathroom extension doesn't feel too cold and damp in the winter.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Great news about the potential 2m immdiate Ef ! Hopefully your stress levels will also be able to come down by August as wellDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

We also have a Meaco desiccant dehumidifier, ours is the Zambezi, it has a timer, turns itself off when the humidity level you set is reached, quite to run and still works in cooler temperatures.
We have an old stone house it has improved our comfort no end as well as speeding up drying laundry.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Good news re the potential EF boost and see how responsible you are, a boost like that and you thoughts turn to EF rather than spending. Go Team EMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!7 -
We went with an Ebac based on family recommendations. Was quite a bit more expensive than I had hoped, so payment was split in 3 via PayPal. We could have afforded to pay it in a single payment, but I'd rather spread it out until April (13th wage/Mrs E pay rise etc.)9

Firstly, welcome back Ed, lovely to 'see' you. The bit I've quoted there really resonated for me... I feel the same about my financial circumstances over the years. I've nothing wise to say, just existing here in solidarity
