Lovely to hear from you all, what a welcome back!
I am having a very easy day, with the girls at Gran's house until after the rugby, which Mrs E and I will watch togetherI was able to find some Guinness despite the recent shortages, and Mrs E has some snack ideas.
House is pretty much surviving and I managed to get DD2 to use her potty for the first time this morning. That sounds like a great achievement, but the childminder is getting her to do it 2-3 times a *day* (why do children always behave better for other adults)? The wild financial excitement for today is £1.32 of interest from Chase and 45p from Prolific, I didn't win Euromillions. Who says I don't know how to party? In signs of a less spendy month, there was no Amazon S&S to pay for today, vs £100+ last month. We have enough DW tablets, laundry detergent (bio and non), DW and WM cleaners, and catfood for one of the cats to last until the end of the year (with a fair wind). We have been able to cut our use of DW cleaners by half because our new machine has a high temperature cleaning cycle. It's only £12 a year or so, but it all helps. Mollusc have also said that we can lower our DD by £4/month, which I have taken them up on. I suspect it will go back up when our fix ends in June.Other than that? Nothing I really want or need, got some booze, the fridge is groaning, and 4-5 hours to myself.Happy Saturday.12 -
