In early 2019 I bought a flight to Marseilles for September 2020 for £198. This flight was not cancelled but because I did not want to travel I moved it to Budapest for April 2021. I had to pay an extra £66 pounds. When it was obvious we wouldn't be travelling to Budapest, we moved our flight again (yes if we had waited, the flight would probably have been cancelled). Anyway we moved it to Jersey for this September and had to pay an extra £6. As we then decided not to go to Jersey this September, we moved it again to go to Berlin next February 2022 and we did not have to pay any extra.
Four days ago, our Berlin flight was cancelled, which meant we could claim a refund for the lot. However, when I pressed the Refund button, I should have received an email stating I would get a refund. I got no email, but I am now one of these people who take screen shots for every screen, so I have dated screen shots from the Easyjet website where it shows that both my flights have the status of 'refund requested' against them.
I then decided to get in touch via the Chat option. Eventually I got through and was told that I had not asked for a refund at all. Once I told the Easyjet advisor that I had screen shots, they suddenly said that I would get a refund but it would take 28 days (despite the website stating it would take seven days). They then said that they could action the refund so I could get my money in seven days. I asked for this and they said that they had done the refund. I also got them to state how much they thought they owed me, which is £256.92. During all of this Chat, I took screen shots and informed them of this.
Suddenly, the Easyjet agent told me that because I had just accessed my booking (which I had not), they had to reactivate my refund again. The they told me that there was a technical error and they could not do the refund.
Again I said I was taking screen shots and suddenly they were able to action my refund, it would take seven days, but I must not look at my booking. They also said they would send me the transcript of out Chat, which they did.
This morning I received a refund from Easyjet of £6! I went onto the Easyjet website to go onto Chat, but it is not available. I am hoping that maybe I am jumping the gun and that the two other payments of £66 and £198 will arrive this week.
I thought all this silliness with airlines was over but obviously not. Has anyone else been in this situation? Is anyone able to direct me to someone on Flyertalk Forums?
Many thanks

Find an e-mail address for EJ, or better still a postal address for a director and send copies of everything to them with a letter covering the basic problem. Problems are often resolved very quickly when elevated to that level.
