    Just received a "switch cannot be progressed" text.  Need to phone them to find out why.  Tesco !!

    When you receive the £100 offer is there any time limit that you need to keep the lloyds account open for in order to keep the £100, what if you switch out of lloyds after only having it open for one month? do they reclaim the £100 back?

    im trying to open a lloyds account and when it comes to the switch account bit ive tried 2 different donor accounts, one a halifax and one a nationwide and keep getting the following message, no idea whats going on, ive def entered the correct details and both donor accounts were not joint accounts, anyone else encountering this issue?

    We cannot switch this account

    We’ve checked your old account and it cannot be switched. Check on your bank statement and debit card that:

    1. The sort code and account number you provided for your old account are correct.
    2. Your name, address and date of birth on your old account match your new account.
    3. If your old account is a joint account then your new account must be joint and both names need to be correct.

    No, you can't open another Club Lloyds account.  It's one single and one joint per person. So if you have one single Club account already you can't open another. Unless you firstly downgrade the original Club account to a normal account.

    (some people do seem to be able multiples somehow, but most can't, and the terms are clear, only one!)

    My fault, fat fingers typing in the Tesco debit card number :s trying again !
    One slight glitch calling the number on the text ...... if you are a Halifax customer press 1, if you are a BOS customer press 2 ..... err no Lloyds option ?  No problems pressing 1 :)
