New Lloyds Switch offer 2021

I think there's some truth in this. On a Halifax SAR there was a note from the "Applications Team" when I applied for a 7th Reward account saying "customer is allowed 7 Reward accounts open. Any more applied for will be declined and closed." So I applied for Current Accounts after that and upgraded them to Rewards! (Said loophole is now closed.)soulsaver said:

or Lloyds has holes in its ac checking algorithms;
or it decides who it applies the official terms to on a personal basis;
or we have some comprehension mismatch between what people are discussing and what some are reporting.1 -
Tried switching a Tesco account to Club Lloyds but I dont have an active debit card so cant progress online.1

I have never had an issue in applying for more. I have four at the moment and did have five but cancelled the newly opened one because I realised I would not qualify for the incentive. Even though they state clearly the criteria for opening more of the accounts perhaps it is also done on a more personal basis. I have been with them for nearly 40 years so perhaps that may mean something. Purely guess work of course.soulsaver said:

"Customers may hold a maximum of one account with Club Lloyds benefits (either a Club Lloyds account or an Added Value current account with a Club Lloyds benefits package) in their sole name and one in joint names. No more than two customers may hold any one Club Lloyds account or have a Club Lloyds benefits package added to their account."

I've been a 'player' since the inception of 'Club' terms, and I've never been given the option when following their application selection process to open a 2nd solo with Club benefits, and I have held joint and solo club acs simultaneously.
I've never tried opening a 2nd solo by phone, so ...?
Opening a joint in either circumstances involves a branch visit, unless policy has changed under pandemic conditions.

If you apply online as an existing Club Lloyds customer then you are not given the choice of opening another Club Lloyds account.0

Tried to switch but got declined. I switched to them back in I think 2018 for another offer, I took the money and ran, in out in less than a month. I get the impression they didn't like this, Halifax done similar. Do these banks put you on a black list if you do this?0

So you keep saying. You have four of... what specifically?CRISPIANNE3 said:

Sorry if I did not make it clear but I have four of the Lloyds Club current accounts. It would appear I am highly thought of.
I have always applied online.locky123 said:If you apply online as an existing Club Lloyds customer then you are not given the choice of opening another Club Lloyds account.soulsaver said:
