For a bank that is to take the UK by storm, that account has a tiny number of followers, even though it has existed since May 2020.

You can now join the waitlist at https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/
Looking at the website though, while they have one or two interesting features, the services they are offering at launch feel like the iPhone 13 event - quite underwhelming.
I can't see the big UK banks being worried.1 -
Also not accepting direct debits according to their website - https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/product/chase-account/1

0% foreign cash payments & withdrawals:But no tie in with Chase USA:
But I'm moving to the US, can I keep using my Chase account there?
Although we come from the same family as Chase in the US, we at Chase in the UK are in fact a separate bank. So if you’re moving to the US and want to bank with Chase, you’ll need to open a new account with them.

A better look at their unique numberless card too. Just like the Apple Credit Card in the States. Made of recycled plastic though. Not metal.

This account sounds much like a competitor to the Tesco Clubcard Pay+ account.

Don't know why you're being so negative. It almost certainly is more of a beta launch to test things rather than their full proper launch yet. They have to start from somewhere and this is actually a pretty good starting point. That cashback offer is better than most backs and the interest on the savings account for round Ups is better than any round up account I've seen.
