Apparently the card will be metal?
Somebody reported this on September 9, on page 1 of this thread

    Some details in this article:

    ........

The card is a dark blue, featuring the Chase logo on the right, and the user’s name is printed in silver on the bottom. There is no number printed on the card itself, which is contactless and metallic.

Lovely I have an American friend with the metal card Spire or some such name, very sleek. As long as the account is a good solid offering to go with the card I will jump to get an account.

Plenty of metal cards already available in the UK.  Amex, Curve, Revolut.  Silly gimmick.  And good luck cutting them up!

The card can be metal or cardboard AFAIC as I use all my cards in ApplePay so the card itself never leaves my house. I wish banks would give their customers the option to just have a digital card in the app rather than having to accept a physical card by default.

I would not pay for a metal card.

I like metal cards if I can get a current account which offers the card they win me. It has a bit of quality and feel about it.

Confirmed above the UK card will be metal. Looking at these designs similar to what I have seen in the states.

Not looking good for iPhones, still no app in the apple store.
  • They’re probably still in the “TestFlight” app on Apple Devices where developers and people with invites can download beta apps. Looks like they’re preparing for tomorrow on Twitter.
