Chase round up all transactions, so if you have a credit card or bill account that allows £0.01 payments or top ups, you could get a decent amount in their - for me it's not worth the hassle.

For the round up, link Chase with Curve, Spend with curve, let it round up and deposit in a side account earning 5%, close to day 30 change the transaction to something else with curve say Co-Op for 2p. Would this work? Are Chase really going to reverse the round up savings? Maybe, looks dodgy reversing all transactions.
I can't see what you are trying to achieve by linking curve and using go back in time to change transactions.

I've opened an account today, but what a palaver. I think it took 5 goes photographing my ID and taking a selfie before they stopped saying 'something went wrong'

Took me all of 3 minutes.
Whereas in the 20th century you would have had to take a few hours to go into the bank to do it.

  • Took me minutes too. And I opened mine while in the pub!

  • Actually gotta say, I'm impressed with this bonny little blue card which comes without the 16 digit number and security code.

Okay, the rounding is a bit gimmicky and the 5% interest is probably coppers, and yes it is a debit card. But, the app is intuitive and it is now my number 1 "go to" card for everyday purchases and the like. It will be interesting to see what other products Chase develop because I get the feeling they have got off to a good start with this one.

    Hmm.
    No direct debits?
(I don't care about overdrafts), can you create standing orders?

I'll come back in a couple of years when it's got what I expect from a bank.

    can you create standing orders?

    Yes. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annually.

Not fortnightly or 4-weekly or every 6 months, or any other frequency.

Can set an end date, but not a number of payments.

So basically very, very unimaginative and not user-friendly at all.
