Chase round up all transactions, so if you have a credit card or bill account that allows £0.01 payments or top ups, you could get a decent amount in their - for me it's not worth the hassle.

deutsch said:For the round up, link Chase with Curve, Spend with curve, let it round up and deposit in a side account earning 5%, close to day 30 change the transaction to something else with curve say Co-Op for 2p. Would this work? Are Chase really going to reverse the round up savings? Maybe, looks dodgy reversing all transactions.

I've opened an account today, but what a palaver. I think it took 5 goes photographing my ID and taking a selfie before they stopped saying 'something went wrong'2

Whereas in the 20th century you would have had to take a few hours to go into the bank to do it.

Actually gotta say, I'm impressed with this bonny little blue card which comes without the 16 digit number and security code.Okay, the rounding is a bit gimmicky and the 5% interest is probably coppers, and yes it is a debit card. But, the app is intuitive and it is now my number 1 "go to" card for everyday purchases and the like. It will be interesting to see what other products Chase develop because I get the feeling they have got off to a good start with this one.2

Hmm.
No direct debits?
(I don't care about overdrafts), can you create standing orders?
I'll come back in a couple of years when it's got what I expect from a bank.1 -

Not fortnightly or 4-weekly or every 6 months, or any other frequency.
Can set an end date, but not a number of payments.
So basically very, very unimaginative and not user-friendly at all.3
