I think the last few comment are quite insightful - a few things aren't adding up here and it could be that your friend is mis-remembering what has happened to him. Most of us are not professionals with the skills and knowledge base to accurately assess someone's state of mind. Especially when it comes to our loved ones. Suggest to your friend that they speak to a solicitor and then help them arrange to see one.0
