I just want my money back, or something offered. Are there any investors taking legal action them? Or is that a lost cause?0

You can't take legal action against a company in liquidation, and you can't take action against the directors personally unless it can be proved that they acted unlawfully. There is currently no evidence of any wrongdoing. These are high risk investments and when property developers fail mid-project, there is often little to be salvaged from their developments after costs and fees. Essentially, you made an unsecured loan to a financier of development projects. This is a known risk of such an investment. Unless something comes to light regarding wrongdoing, you have no recourse.pauline_88 said:I just want my money back, or something offered. Are there any investors taking legal action them? I had a notification email from Companies House stating that the Compulsory strike-off action has been suspended for FLUID TRUST PLC (11212930), it does not give any further info on why yet?
Anyone else had any updates or is this something that tends to happen when a company goes into administration0 -
They were threatened with being struck off the register a few times previously. Generally happens when a company fails to file documents when they should have done so. For example, accounts. Fluid Trust plc is NOT in administration. It is still being run as a going concern. This wouldn't happen to a company in administration because only filings related to the insolvency are expected.

If it helps at all, an investor I know died during the 2 years investment period, and the money was returned in full in June 2021. This was a Fluid ISA (number 1 I think). Payment received by Northern Provident. The interest payments were also all made, so everything was returned. It did take some time and a few emails though, to receive the money.1

I hesitate to say that was lucky. If held to term it would have been locked up like everyone else's investment.

June 21 was prior to NP going into liquidation so all was ok at that point.1

@Rob_ronson Thanks for the warning, very poor wording gives a clue to the scam. I'd strongly recommend removing your personal details from that letter. Cover them over and then add a new copy.
It's a new one that uses actual letters rather than random emails. I wonder who has leaked out the addresses of bondholders?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I received a list of all creditors names & addresses from Leonard Curtis, which I believe was sent to all creditors? I completed the Creditors questionnaire & returned and I believe Leonard Curtis has sent a report to the Insolvency Service.0
