Good morning!
I am in this week - thanks Natty for the lists, and thanks Valli for last week. I may actually follow the list today!!
I am home alone as DH has swapped his rest day for Saturday as we are away. He is running the Brighton marathon on Sunday!! We are staying at Eastbourne as we can't afford/justify Brighton prices!!
So far today I have slept in (whoops!), WMx1 (now on the line), had breakfast, checked emails & bank accounts, done a couple of admin tasks and sloshed bleach down the loo. I have also put the cushion covers in the WM & dealt with some dead flowers. The food bin needs emptying now...
Still to do:
Vac LR
Empty food bin
Clean downstairs toilet & basin
Clear mantlepiece of DS's birthday cards
Dust LR
Also, I MUST pop out and get DH an anniversary card!!! Today is our 24th wedding anniversary - I deserve a medal (or he does! 😂)
On Saturday we ordered the suits for the wedding - they are being delivered today so I need to be in for that. Less than 4 weeks to go now!! 😁
Hugs & coping vibes to those that need them. Lovely to see jojo back!
Have a good day everyone 😁11 -
Thank you for the lists xHi JoJo and BCWM done out on whirlyWhole house hooveredBin doneCut my hair, HATE going to hairdressers in this country as they stand behind you and talk, with out my hearing aids in I cannot hear them, I do say when I go in but they don't listen, that is why I love having my hair cut when I go else where in the world, as I don't understand them and they don't understand me! except for drawings of what I want but trips else where won't be happening for a long long timeBirds fedOH taken for blood testBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I have a pounding headache which won’t shift, a sure sign that AF is on her way. It’s very sunny here now x12

Most of Round 2 completed, not put away my birthday presents, but I have got both WM loads line dried, turned and top to bottomed my mattress and remade the bed - including the duvet cover (at last). And I've been to Mr C00p with a list so I'm organised for pack up lunches and easy teas this week.
Recovering from being clothes lined by the duvet cover, and pile drivered by the mattress .... slight exaggeration, but they do fight back 😳

Scratched the two scratch cards that I was given for my birthday. Won £5 on one and £10 on the other. Pleasant way to end my week off 😌

Morning all.
Not a good start to my day. I woke up while it was still dark, opened the windows to let in some fresh air, and read for a while. Then I became aware of a loud buzzing and spotted a hornet flying around the room! And then a small wasp joined it!! Closed the windows just in time, as another hornet was buzzing outside!!! It really was the stuff of nightmares, but for realThe hornet inside buzzed around for a bit, then settled on top of the roller blind, so I turned off all the lights, shut the door and left it to calm down. When I returned an hour later, it was walking across the window pane. I managed to swot it with the church magazine (!!!) and it went to meet its Maker, along with the little wasp. Phew!
Another not-good thing is that I think my pre-diabetes is getting worse - I hadn't realised until I checked the NHS website that my constant tiredness could also be a symptom - so I must phone for an appointment with the Dr as soon as the surgery telephone lines open at 8.00.
A long list of things to be done today, which I won't bore you with, so I will have to try to stay awake. I need to declutter more than one thing each day if I am to stay on top of the growing piles of paperwork.9 -
Morning xx
I took a turn at sentry duty in WAC - spent some time in there and noticed that we were running low on Ovaltine and Horlicks so I've restocked. 😉
Hugs to iona xx
Back to the paid stuff for me today. And breathe. I'm hoping to have enough spoons left each evening to actually do something other than flump. 🤞
I've made my bed and packed my lunch. Birds will be fed and recycling put out before I heigh ho....
Have a good day all
