Morning all. Hope Mr Ionafan is ok today, and hugs and strength and patience to whoever needs it.
I have a lot planned all of a sudden and won't get a proper day to myself until next weekend. Most of the plans are fun though.
So far today I have walked the dogs.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all,
Hugs to everyone, especially Iona, Narco and everyone else who needs one. I have lots to spare.
So far this morning I have blitzed the kitchen, stripped the bedding and put it on a hot wash, poo picked, fed children and chickens, watched some cleaning people on IG, sent a few text messages and blown the leaves off the driveway. Is it bedtime yet?!
Will pop back later x11 -
Morning all xx
Hugs to Iona xxx and hoping Mr iona is on the mend xx
Hugs to everyone xx
asb - reading what you've achieved already this morning has worn me out. I didn't wake up until 8.30....catching up on a few 😴 after several 'too hot to sleep properly' nights.
I've made my bed and slowly savoured my first brew. Busy doing nothing - that sing could have been written for me (unfortunately).
Round 1
Brew 2 and toast
Take clean washing upstairs
Put airer away
Get dressed
Bring laundry hamper down
Feed the birds
Rinse cans
Put out rubbish and recycling
That'll do for starters
Love to all

I have damp dusted my bedroom, forced encouraged DS to bin some bits of tat treasure from his room and put the WM on a 90 degree wash.
They are now having some screen time whilst I contemplate my next move - which should really be a shower.
Natty - If you read this love please know I am thinking of you, and sorry you are going through so much at the moment. Lots of love to you honey xxx
ETA - I love Flylady love. Thank you xxxx10 -
Morning all,
Hugs, especially to Iona, Kaz and Narc0. Very well done to Mademoiselle’s DD.
I would have posted earlier (honestly!) but the chimney sweep turned up early, as I was about to get in the shower, and DH had popped to the village shop! Eek moment, then DH strolled back, so I could breathe again. And more importantly, the sweep hasn’t been scarred for life by seeing me in just my dressing gown.
So, showered, dressed, double cuppa’d, wm x1 done and hung outside, wm 2 swishing. WUDUPA glasses from DH’s birthday evening yesterday. Take away with a few of his beer buddies. DD and I shared a dish and a glass or 2 in front of a film. The 3 of us are out for dinner tonight, the last time before DD goes away next weekend 😢.
Next plan:
another cuppa…
sort out fridge, which is full to bursting as DH has been pushing all sorts in.put last bits of last week’s grocery shop away. My frugal mind will have to resurface next weekend. I follow ASB and others with awe on the frugal challenge. I need to do so much better.
turn some plums into jam
There is more, but that will do for now.
Hugs and love xx10 -
*Healing vibes* for Mr Ionafan, *coping vibes* for Ionafan, and (((hugs))) for all that are irritated, annoyed, struggling, under the weather or challenged in any other way.\rant alertThe lodger who has been driving both Belovéd and me nuts has now tested postive for Covid-19. She's wittering on about how being isolated is going to affect her mental health and I am beyond furious that she seems to have absolutely no idea that being in a house with a 74 year old and a 65 year old may cause concern for or in other people. The fact that she's going to miss out on her debut is concerning her, the impact that has on the rest of the cast and crew probably having to cancel the production completely is a minor consideration for her. I have told her she is to stay in her room, the bathroom and the outside yard if she really must smoke, and will deliver her meals three times a day, and check on her twice more every day. So far I have delivered two fried eggs on toast with S&P, lemon juice, honey, a kettle, six two litre bottles of water, a bowl of fruit, a pot of santiser, a box of rubber gloves and absolutely no sympathy. (There's a reason I couldn't have been a nurse or a doctor, as she is discovering.) She visited a nightclub about two weeks ago, has been feeling tired for 10 days and hasn't been self-testing. She's ordered a PCR test which won't be here until Monday so there's no chance of any result until Tuesday at the very earliest and I can hear her on the phone talking to whoever whinging about how miserable she is. I could slap her. Lodger No 2 has very sensibly moved out. I've just self-tested - it's brewing on the side, and Belovéd is going to take one when he's walked the dog, which he's allowed to do because we're both double jabbed.
Better is good enough.10 -
Thanks for the good wishes and hugs. I phoned the horse piddle earlier and DH is now stable and being admitted to a ward as soon as a bed becomes available. His Covid test was negative.
I have showered, dressed and eaten breakfast; had a conversation with DS1 (always difficult because they live in a steep valley and his phone signal is dire); done a pick-up-and-put-away all through the house (5 minutes - omitting the study); cleaned the bathroom; and hung out 2 loads of washing - the rest went in the TD last night and has been flung over airers to finish off. Now I must dust/wipe and hoover all through and steam mop the kitchen floor, then most of the house will be ready for anything. I still have bank application forms all over my desk, but they will be sorted and cleared later, when I've composed my accompanying letter.
Dizzy, if the helpful ideas from other Flyladies don't give a clear indication of what is wrong, is it possible to switch off separate circuits at the fuse box? If so, by checking the rate at which the meter is moving round, you might then be able to pinpoint the area where the problem is located.
Narc0, I'm pleased to hear that your mum's GP has done something positive and hope her recovery continues well. How you manage to do all you do for her, *and* continue teaching via Z00m, I can't imagine!
ETA:
Rant away as much as you like, Honey Bear. I hope your lodger comes to realise just how lucky she have you waiting on her. I hope she's going to clean the bathroom and all the door handles she touches! Stay-safe vibes to you and OH.
A friend rang so I haven't made much progress with Flying yet - but I am now drinking a cuppa which will hopefully give me a bit more energy and boost my willpower.8 -
Have been up since the lark... Hugs to Iona, Kaz, Honey and Narc0, packed up a box of 'stuff', Tesco's arrived dead on time and we only had two subs, and two no shows. But the rest was all delivered thank gods otherwise the meal planning for this week would have gone a bit awol. Thank gods we get a bulk meat order every 3 months and the fruit and veg delivered every week from the farm. But I've decided I obviously don't order the stuff that everyone else seems to buy, and is not being delivered due to the lorry drivers etc.So now the shopping is on the side waiting to be homed but I have to clear/rearrange the fridge to put it all away while Dave is walking pup.
asb thank you honey especially as I know you have your own stuff going on. Hugs to you too sweetheart.Must hang the wet washing out on line otherwise it won't dry.. And there is another load in the machine already.. Where does it all come from seeing as there's only two of us.. lolHave a new recipe to try tonight - Sweet chilli, garlic and halloumi flatbread burgers with salt and pepper fries. And the good news it's all on plan too 😃Off to do the Alzheimers memory walk in Maidstone tomorrow so have to sort out some packing up later, to take.Blimey that's the last time I take a day out of everything.. lol
Off to bury myself in fridge then have a shower after...lolHugs xxxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Girls currently getting ready for swimming.
Squeak enjoyed the theatre group desite getting overwhelmed with nerves in the middle of the lesson and crying. A few of the other girls went over with out being prompted and hugged her and made her feel better. She was very shy about joining in because she didn't want to get it wrong. She said it was fun and came out smiling.
Returned some underwear from Tesc0.. they didn't fit and felt unpleasant but also had the security tag stil on. I am so fed up of them leaving tags on stuff.
Off to brush soome scruffs and get pants for everyone and we need to head off.

Round 1 completed + sloshed bleach down the loo, changed the towels in the bathroom, sorted washing into loads and set towels/ tea towels swishing, filled the bird bath and the hedgehog's bowl....I can call it that now I've identified hedgehog poo in my garden. 😊.
There are mozzarella burgers heating up in the oven and bread buns ready to receive them. I'm hungry - but just seen that it is 1pm so that'll be why then.
More Flylady live heading out into the ether ❤❤❤
