If you are at LBC stage why not respond and say you are seeking debt advice and ask for the mandatory pre-action protocol right of a '30 day hold' (just before you go away)?  That will put your mind at rest until they contact you again and you will be back.
This is a great shout, I'll do that thank you.  What should I do after that when I get back though, make another offer with the aforementioned heading or go back to just not responding?

Neither.  You will be defending a court claim in January.  That's the stage when we win.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You seem surprised, have you not noticed every thread except yours and a couple of others, is about court claims?  Read some and learn from them.

I early didn't read as much as I should have been. I think panic took over and I wanted to try and solve it quickly. Which I now know I'm an idiot for. Looking over the newbie stuff now, am I right in thinking there's a good chance this will go to court so to now contact parking eye requesting a SAR?

Yes if you need a SAR due to not having the letters they sent, or wanting to check what they hold about you/the car/any previous communications you made.

right, seeing as i've made this !!!!!! up multiple times before, i plan to do this right.
I'm about to fill in and send off the SAR request form on PE's policy page. Is this worded correctly and ready to send?

    "Dear Sir or Madam

Subject access request ( Data Protection Act 2018 / General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) )

Please supply the data about me that I am entitled to under data protection law  relating to myself. These Include:

    - ALL photos taken
    - All letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence earlier
    - PDT machine records from the day of incident (xx/xx/20xx), of payments made, these MUST include the VRN's.
    - All data held, all evidence that you will be relying on, and a full copy of the PCN, NTK
    - A list of all PCNs outstanding against myself and/or this VRN. Please be reminded that any claim must be for all PCNs, not several separate claims.

If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity please let me know as soon as possible. It may be helpful for you to know that data protection law requires you to respond to a request for data within one calendar month.

If you do not normally deal with these requests, please pass this letter to your Data Protection Officer, or relevant staff member. If you need advice on dealing with this request, the Information Commissioner’s Office can assist you. Its website is ico.org.uk or it can be contacted on 0303 123 1113.

    Yours faithfully

    Khaggis"

I would leave out this line...
If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity please let me know as soon as possible.
That is just giving them an easy excuse to delay things.

    You ask...
AFAIK they only have the one PCN for me, should i still include the last point anyway?
Yes, leave that line in. You want to know about all PCNs - and of course you are particularly interested in those you don't currently know about.

Thank you, I've made the amendments,
Should I also include dated photos of all pay and display signs in the car park either on the day if incident or as close to the incidents date as possible?
