Hey Umkomaas.Umkomaas said:@Coupon-mad gave you that draft on 11 April, that's only 20 days ago.
The draft you're talking about was a Reply to when they said "no you still owe us money" the draft I quoted where it states "I am reasonably giving you another 30 days to reply with 5.2(a) or (b), in order to comply with the PAP." Was dated 1st of April. So realistically they have until the end of today, but I find it highly unlikely I'll receive anything by then.1 -
Ok, so then send what I gave you, next week.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry I'm a little confused, I've already sent everything you've given me on the dates that you gave them me.Coupon-mad said:Ok, so then send what I gave you, next week. It's been 20 days since I last sent them an email, but it's now been 30 since I sent the email you gave me stating to reasonably give them another 30 days to either provide the data or explain why it isn't available.
So that time frame has now surpassed. Should I give it another 10 days so that it goes to 30 days since no contact whatsoever, or should I chase it up?
Thank you again for all your help, I really do appreciate it. 😊0 -

Hey coupon. So it's been 2 months now and I've still not heard a peep from PE. Normally I'd consider this a good thing, but I know they have up to 6 years to process a claim, so I don't want to think it's over, then get slapped with a court notice 5 years down the line. With everything that's been said, and their replies, or lack thereof; should I still sit on this or should I contact them asking for confirmation this is being dropped or I'll be claiming for damages my end if they continue to pursue etc. What would you success? Many thanks!Coupon-mad said:Ah, no just wait for them to reply in May.0 -
Check their website, going as if to pay; that will confirm the current status of the PCN.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Still heard absolutely nothing. nearly at the 4 month mark now.
I saw in a previous post from 4consumerrights that they sent an email stating:
"Dear Sirs,
Further to my appeal sent to you on the ..........., to which I received an automated acknowledgement, I have to date not heard anything further from you regarding this parking charge.
I am making a formal complaint to the BPA and DVLA as you have failed to respond to my appeal within 35 days as stipulated in the BPA's Code of Practice, which as a member you agree to abide by. I should also point out that as an AOS member (with ATA status) adhering to this code of practice both affords your company access to the DVLA database and binds you to your KADOE contract.
I respectfully request therefore that you confirm by return that this parking charge has been cancelled and remind you of the contents of my previous email regarding claiming my costs should you continue to pursue me."
Would it be worth ending this now?0 -
But that letter (which must be very old as 4consumerrights hasn't posted here for years now) relates to an initial appeal, a process you have already progressed through, and subsequently lost at POPLA.Khaggis said:Still heard absolutely nothing. nearly at the 4 month mark now.

Would it be worth ending this now?I haven't trawled through the previous 100+ posts, but what are you seeking/hoping for now? I'm afraid it's entirely in PE's hands as to where this progresses. They are unlikely to write to you to tell you they're not going to proceed any further. If you get anything from them, it will be more than likely in the shape of a court claim - is that what you want them to do? PE are very efficient at banging out a court claim, especially following a POPLA rejection of the motorist's appeal, so, as I read it, there is something holding them back. So I wouldn't be poking a stick in the hornets' nest. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Just an update on this, seeing as I am currently in the process, of appealing my partner's claim, I thought I'd look back into this one as I've still had nothing.
I've recently moved house so I thought that I would log on to parking eye and update my address with them, as that is the advice on this forum, plus I'd rather not get a CCJ. However when I tried to log in using my details, I get this message: "We have been unable to find your parking charge. Please check you have entered your details correctly. If you have received a Notice to Driver (i.e. a ticket affixed to your vehicle) then please allow 24 hours from the issue date prior to attempting payment."
Does that mean it's over boys and girls? Or should I call them up to confirm? It's not been the 6 years of statute if limitations yet, so I'd be surprised if they've wiped it before that. And I've not had any mail forwarded from my old address or anything like that.
Cheers in advance.0
