Civil Enforcement Ltd - small claims court
Comments

All the CCBC ( not any court ) will do is send you an email auto receipt to your inbox folder or spam folder , and add it to your claim historyWoolmer67 said:Could anyone tell me how long it usually take the court to reply to my defence please? I emailed it last Friday 17th September.
Thanks
After that , it can take weeks , because they contact the claimant as KeithP pointed out above , so nobody has any way if knowing the answer to your question !
Check your claim history on MCOL , see what it says2 -
Thank you for your replies. I haven’t received a auto receipt and there is nothing on the MCOL site. That’s why I’m a bit concerned that they haven’t received it.0
-
Then email it again tomorrow at 9am or just after , it's not received until you have proof of receipt , such as the auto receipt by email and subsequent logging on your MCOL claim history , quite a few seem to have failed in the last couple of monthsWoolmer67 said:Thank you for your replies. Copy in the Claimant's solicitors as well. Their email will be on this forum if you search. Copying them in is likely to stop them trying for sneaky default judgment if the CCBC drop the ball.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ideally you do the ccbcaq email one on a weekday between 9 and 4Woolmer67 said:Thank you. Unfortunately I’ve only just seen these messages but I will do it now.
But whenever you do it , check for that auto receipt from the CCBC in your inbox folder and spam folder
We do not recommend doing this on a Friday night or a weekend !2 -
Ok thanks I’ll send it first thing Monday morning1

Coupon-mad
I’ve been looking on this forum and on the internet but I haven’t found the details of CEL’s solicitor yet. S.Wilson is on the claim form as the claimant’s legal representative but where do I find his email address?0 -
Scott Wilson used to work for discredited and defunct Wonga, and has now found his niche in a parking firm, as discussed on lots of CEL threads already. Quelle surprise.
They don't use solicitors as CEL have him heading an in-house legal team! To find their email address search the forum. It is in threads, might be litigation@, I can't recall.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
