I'm not pretending and I don't understand why you would think that. It wouldn't be a family member there are several carpenters and we use each others vehicles to get around the different sites that we work on. You might be right though as if you aren't familiar with work sites then the judge won't be either.
I was going by the words you used and was playing Devils Advocate, to show you how it reads to a third party like me, or a judge.

I think you need to explain what you said above, in point #2 in order for the Judge to understand why it’s impossible to be sure which of you parked.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thank you Coupon-mad and KeithP I will do as you both suggested. Many thanks
  • Hi all,

I'm looking for the email address to send the defence. I've read the newbies thread and it says the keithp has posted it but I can't see it. Can someone guide me to it please?

Try the defence template thread , where you found the template , people tend to grab the template yet don't read the rest of post 1 , which results in them not following the 12 numbered steps !! Do not be that person
  • This is all I can find. This site is new to me and I’ve been reading through different cases but I still can’t find the email address for CCBCAQ

‘Send your defence to the CCBCAQ email address given by KeithP in all the other recent claim/defence threads we need you to read first.’
  • I’ve found it now. I was looking too far on in the thread.

@Redx suggested you read the template defence thread. He went on to point you towards the first post on that thread where he told you there is a list on twelve numbered steps.

Look at item number 4 on that list.

Hint: you know where the template Defence thread is. You've been there before. It's that thread where... errr... you found the template Defence that you customised to make your own.
  • Yes KeiithP and you are obviously very familiar with the thread but I am not. I have now saved the 12 steps so I should be able to follow them easily.
  • Could anyone tell me how long it usually take the court to reply to my defence please? I emailed it last Friday 17th September.

    Thanks

The CCBC will send you a letter saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence.
What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant.
It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a DQ as promptly as you might like.

Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.
