Another quiet day. Now that I've 'stopped' I can't seem to get going again. Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing next (a lot of stuff is on hold as I can't physically do it). Still feeling vaguely unwell. Have made progress on some admin stuff and unmuddled the bed a bit.
Grateful for rain keeping me inside, the meals I made up on Saturday, listsMy mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
There is a lot more petrol out there today lcc, if people stop being daft and filling up to the top when they don't need to 'just in case' it should all be sorted soon. All the petrol stations now have fuel over here, but the increase in demand, combined with everyone paying in store to avoid the £100 pay-at-pump debit charge, is causing queues to back up on roads.at t Driving home just now, there were no more than 3 or 4 cars in a queue at the 4 petrol stations I passed .Roll on payday!!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

A very rainy night, which has continued all day today. Work went well, despite a 'blip' at lunchtime, but the headteacher dealt with it as best she could. Last night I decorated a notebook & wrapped it up for a friend having a tricky time. The idea behind it is that she writes in it before bed, either things that are on her mind or something that's gone well, plus 3 things she's grateful for. She loved it! Said she has a card for me but had left it at home (she's in the middle of moving house). I'm intrigued as to what the card is for, as it's not my birthday until December.
Had a nap after work, then I've spent the evening making lavender fish. The smell has been lovely while I worked 😃
Grateful for good friends, avoiding injury at work, lavenderUse it up, wear it out

Weirdly I am doing better on NSD days now that I am out of money for the month, and have blown through most of my reserves. Today I have half a day of cover, which is promising that things will turn.
That said I am grateful for help from family and having my own reserves for the last 2 months, I have gone through my son's health crisis without financial issues.
I love this thread and will rejoin in October, I have not managed to do the actual challenges, but they have been right there in the back of my mind. I wills start my creative work and mental focus work again this weekend when ds2 is properly shipped off and I can focus on mememe and on visiting ds1.
Also grateful for new job, fuel crisis reminded me how lovely it will be commuting to work without a car.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Happy Tuesday! Went on a charity trawl this morning after dropping The Monsters at school, 3 plates, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 x 6" pillar candles, thick padded shirt/jacket for DS 3 or 4 - all for £6.Now for the recycling..... the laundry is on the line and in the machine, top floor cleaned and tidied. Then the will to live left me, so I am on the sofa looking for inspiration, won't find it online though, more likely to find it at the bottom of a tea cup. Lunch will be rejigged leftovers, probably supper too.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi turtles, even as a turtle too wet for me today.Yesterday spent on a washing up bowl, few food items. Last washing bowl had got covered in fence paint somehow ;-)Today in work, watching selfish nutters getting fuel at the garage across the road. Beggars belief. Just wondering if we had any sort of rationing like the war, we would never cope.Today will be a NSD stayed in lunchtime, not that I need anything. Keeping off shopping sites on internet as well.Might have to have a wet walk later, as need to move my back, sitting all day is not helping it atm.Grateful forCuppa soup found in my drawer as my throat was ticklyNot working outside in this weather.Nice night watching final 2 episodes of Virgil last night.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

The situation hasn't improved near me yet unfortunately, I cycled to work today and our local station had fuel for the first time since the weekend but there was gridlock everywhere. People were blocking the road, blocking the pavement and cycle lane, reversing up the wrong side of the road.... utter chaos. You'd think people would have full tanks by now! @Calling14 if the Covid hoarding and fuel situation has taught me anything, it's that we would be in serious trouble if we ever had to deal with something like rationing, people are just too selfish (not everyone of course, I know there are plenty who genuinely need petrol and have no choice but to queue).
NSD 17, had a good day at work, productive and finally felt like I was getting my teeth into it a bit more.7 -
