Good - keep that safe (as a "just in case"). It may still take a few days for your MCOL history to update.Jenni x2

Phone the CCBC in the morning - prepare yourself for a lengthy wait, but you do need access to your MCOL record.gamer123 said:How can I view the case on money claim it just says Begin new claim or respond to a claim. Hi I got a letter from HM Courts & Tribunal service on the 15th December saying:I acknowledge receipt of your defence. A copy is being served on the claimant (or the claimant's solicitor). The claimant may contact you direct to attempt to resolve any dispute. If the dispute cannot be resolvedinformally, the claimant will inform the court that he wishes to proceed. The court will then inform you ofwhat will happenWhere he wishes to proceed, the claimant must contact the court within 28 days after receiving a copy ofyour defence. After that period has elapsed, the claim will be stayed. The only action the claimant can thentake will be to apply to a judge for an order lifting the stay.
It is now the 17th of January and I've checked on MCOL and claimant hasn't written anything and I haven't received any letters in court saying about any further action. Does this mean that they are not taking it any further?0 -
There might be a little 'lag' in reporting/recording, there's been a few problems on that front for months now (Covid absences being a major factor), so I'd give it a few more days. Please keep checking your MCOL history. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. We see a lot of such questions in court claim threads ... the key words are "A copy is being served on the claimant"; you don't and can't know when that actually happens - it is certainly not 28 days from the date of the letter your received.
Apart from this, represented claimants seem to get a lot of leeway regarding the timings in the court claim process - far more than litigants in person get - this being grossly unfair given that the legal representation should be intimate with the court procedures and should have no excuse for missing any deadlines.
So it could be a few more weeks before you know anything further.Jenni x5 -
They are proceeding. All this is normal.
And the CCBC won't have worked through Xmas. Please read other threads and don't ask us about the template letter you will get from the solicitors talking about an offer and mediation and suchlike.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi I've got the directions questionnaire letter.
It says please find enclosed a copy of the claimant's questionnaire which has also been filed with the court.
However the form has been filled in by the claimant with the X's. Is this normal?0
