Depends on how much cubic space you give them in a box or if you just wack them in covered in blood and kicking and screaming.
Tends to stop once you get at least a tonne of soil on them.
So I have heard ........1 -

Ooh - that sounds lovely! There's just the 2 of us in our 4 bed, so we do have a dedicated guest bedroom - nearly. The fitted wardrobes are full of our own clothes, so I suppose you could almost call it a dressing room.Monsternextdoor said:We may have guests maybe 6 times a year for the odd weekend or a week.
The girls are getting double beds, Ive a king and if push comes to shove the kids could stay with my mum 5 mins drive away.
I want to make it an ultra chic little room for me and the girls mainly as its something I want them to have, How nice is it to be able to invite friends to come get ready for a wedding or party in there own little room, complete with hollywood esq mirrors and the choice of perfumes, make up and clothes.
I want the girls to have a beautiful space that they can use, Not just a dumping ground for washing.
This is the reason we bought a 4 bed in the first place !
The 2 other 'spare' bedrooms are fully utilised as a study and a hobby room, so no wasted space.3 -
That was the other option, Craft room.Silvertabby said:

But I'm happy for the girls to pursue their chosen crafts in the dining room or in the long term the loft when we get it squared and sorted.1 -
I went for one of these in spare bedroom....it is my dressing room (and ironing room!) but becomes spare double bedroom when have guests (decided on this rather than sofa bed which would have taken up more room...room not huge) I have actually painted the white to match the walls

Have you considered a futon? That way you have it as seating in there most of the time then its a bed of the occasions its needed. Also takes up less space than a bed and doesn't look like a bed so would compliment your room better.YNWA

It does remind me of a cartoon I saw early in the pandemic. 2 women looking out the window. One says"I thought you said your husband was in the garden? I can't see him." The woman who lives there says"Oh you'll have to dig a little!"
