Morning all,
We are up, beds made and dressed. Egg delivery to make this morning, then various people popping in for a cuppa which will be nice. No doubt I will be shattered later from all the peopling so an early night is on the cards!
We have a small bag of things to drop in at the CS whilst we are out, and we all have a hankering for crumpets so will pick some up. The chickens need cleaning out at some point too, but the children help with that.
Have a lovely Friday all xx10 -
While the kettle was boiling for brew two I refilled the jar with teabags, rinsed the empty milk carton, knotted the bin bags, and took the towels out of WM - they are now folded ready to be pegged out, oh, and I folded the clean dry clothes and put away the airer.
Hair appointment is at 5.30pm.
Round 1
Shower
Get dressed
Peg out towels / tea towels
Put out the rubbish & recycling
Fit new bin bags
Feed the birds
Fill the bird bath
That'll do for starters

HHI done, basket empty
A few things put away off bedroom table, more to go.
Rubbish and recycling out, It's general bin day today and I'm getting pleasure knowing that mine is full, that must mean some c**p is leaving this house. How sad is that.
Coffee time then will check on washing and continue with dot to dot, here and there12 -
Le puff. Le wheeze.
So much for a leisurely Round 1....I received a text at 9.12 am to say that DS's Dad was calling at his brother's and then coming over here....I suspect that he's forgotten that I said I had managed to un-bury the electrical sockets all by myself....but I didn't read the text until 9.29 am. Still in the starting blocks, wearing my nightie at that point. A pox on on-line games!!!!!
I've showered, dressed and completed the rest of Round 1Note to self: when you gather the used towels from the bathroom, don't forget to put the clean towels in there. Stepped out of the shower - no towels. Wet streak across the landing to grab a towel. Glad to report that there was no startled (or otherwise) window cleaner looking in
I need food. And coffee.

Eggs delivered, bakery visited, dog walked and brew drunk.
The chickens are still laying so we can't clean them out just yet. Had an email from energy provider about costs going up - again9 -
Humph. No sign of DS's Dad and I can't get hold of him. So I've texted to say I'm going out for lunch as I wasn't expecting him until this afternoon...as ORIGINALLY planned!!!! The job is done but he is still welcome to come for a coffee this afternoon...as I've ALREADY said.
I'm cross with myself for getting discombobulated by the text earlier, but I was willing to be flexible. I'm nice like that. And a bit worried as DS's Dad's brother is not a well man so who knows what's occurred.
And breathe.
Jo's leaving do - I need to get some vegan nibbles and the cash to pay the hairdresser later.

Well morning gone, OH felt off last night so I made him ring the out of hours hotline, they said what to do, and they would ring in morning,.Cat follow up appointment at vets, they vanished out the back with him for 15 mins to flush his eye out, as it is inflamed. Bring at home feed chicken and liquid pain relief.Mean while OH has hospital call him, and tell him to go straight to the local hospital, and find the cancer lorry in the car park, which we did, 3 hours later we leave there, the rest of cycle 2 is cancelled, we start cycle 3 in about 3 weeks, he is just so drained.Cat trying to break out of the patio door, !Nothing is in order today.Hugs xxBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hugs to Kaz
Plenty of washing done, ironing basket still empty
Couple of bags emptied and put away
Wedding present ordered for OH's niece, I think this is what has triggered my blue mood this afternoon, we should have been back to see all the family but too expensive and too complicated. So not a lot of flying done in the second part of the day.
Keep SMILING tomorrow is another day10 -
Love to OH Kaz you take care of yourself too x
Well an eventful 24 hours here, took Mum over the moors to the coast yesterday. Lovely gentle walk then a nice late lunch. Set off to come home, got onto a busy bit of road and the car died. 3 hour wait for RAC and then another hour while RAC man tried to fix it, then £100 charge to get towed home. Thankfully a nice man stopped and pushed us off the road into a farm gateway so we were safe. It's in the garage now so another car bill, just what I need.
There is an outbreak of Covid at DS1s work. He is now sleeping here and going backwards and forwards to work as one of the lads who lives in his staff house has it. This probably just means that we are all going to get it, but I guess that's inevitable anyway, rates are high locally.
Off to feed myself and DS, have done a long bike ride so I am really hungry!11
