  • Hi Rigarella, I have subscribed to your diary and will be cheering you on from the sidelines :)

I always hate the return from holiday and the mountain of washing that follows!

    Thanks @gymgirl11

yes the laundry is certainly a bump back to reality and the drizzly weather has impacted outdoor drying!

  • Hey Wannabes!

Sooo I had a lovely holiday but today I am back to work and sitting at my desk trying to motivate

I started the day with a stretch class (free) online and took sometime to have breakfast away from the desk. I will do the same with lunch. I am trying to get out of those bad habits!

Some good news that bonuses will be paid at the end on this month and it will mean I can get rid of at least 2 of my debts. Which will be a massive help on the daily / monthly grind. I am waiting for payslip which will show me the tax damage

Lodger will be moving in too early next month and that income will be paying off my now new debt for the car and I will start to top that up further when I have cleared off some of my others. So its starting to fall in place and I am not quite as down about the car loan now, i guess the sunny holiday helped too.

I am back to the diet this week  not the most fun part of back to life but I find that if I am being disciplined in many aspects of my life then its a bit easier to handle

     ahh monday shmunday

    Have a good one all

  • Heya Wannabes,

Slow day today reality is starting to kick on with the volume of work and chores etc, Will be organised tomorrow and get a list going but procrastinating well right now  :#

I have updated my October budget today with expected income etc and updated my numbers here on my signature, even added the car loan which was painful but need to avoid burying my head in the sand.

Joining the gym this week will be an extra outgoing but I have been spending money on classes etc so I worked out this would be better value with the classes that are included in the membership and my workplace have confirmed that our return to the office will be minimal 2-4 days per month. Therefore I will be able to do morning / lunch classes etc.

Heading up to Watford on Saturday for a friends birthday but avoiding the drink and driving back, luckily I have fuel as I filled up before holiday not knowing that we would be having this meltdown in the UK right now. Never mind eh!

Have a lovely evening to all

    Rigarella

  • Goood morning wannabes!!

Early check in today as I am going to get stuck in to that to do list after this post!

Not much to report but payslip arrived and good to know what I clear from the bonus it will clear simply be and paypal so I will be pleased to pay those off tomorrow!

Will be a little of a spend day though with the bills and gym membership etc, I also have a few b'day presents to get. but the rest of the month is pretty quiet. Intending to utilise that gym membership

We are heading to Italy for a few days at the end of the month to see partners family, they are in a remote village so living is super cheap 3 euros for a pizza in a restaurant cheap! and my flights were free as someone has paid for me. I will need a bit of dosh of course for incidentals. But I do need to invest in a new cabin bag as mine got checked in last trip and the loving hands of the baggage handlers caused tearing to the bag. It is very old so I suppose it was on the way out.

I scrapped my old car yesterday £230 and I will be paid £120 this month for the dance classes I taught so I will keep that for spendies!

Right thats it for me today

    Over and Out

  • Good Afternoon Wannabes!

Pay day has arrived woohoo. I was able to pay off some of those debts today and updated signature accordingly. That felt good

Little bit of spending as per the above, travel cases, presents etc. But good to get that all out the way early in the month I find then easier for me to budget the rest over the month.

I motivated to get the rest of that debt down as quickly as I can so I can have that extra income in my pocket each month. Will feel great I am sure.

Off to a class at the gym tonight after work, back to the grind

    Have a great day all
