We are trying to organise it. Disabled passenger in the city with a car that does not comply to the low emission zone
    nightmare parking.
I will be glad when this is over and its not even my ticket.  Cannot even remember why I put the 22nd?

Why could it not be as simple as my ticket at Birmingham Airport.  My appeal    "Not the Driver, Was not me".
Never heard from them again. Although I imagine it would be difficult for them to do anything as no keeper liability
and the vehicle is seen/pictured dropping people off right next to the sign that said drop off point.

Thanks for putting up with me.

Well done. Did you ask for costs?
Whether you have or not, send a draft order to the court requesting costs because of the claimant's unreasonable behaviour by discontinuing at very short notice.

Yay!  ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

How close to the hearing was this?  Had they paid the hearing fee?

If I have read it correctly, the discontinuance letter was dated two days before the hearing and arrived the day before the hearing. Deffo unreasonable behaviour.

You could use the 'White Book wording' (Judges can consult the White Book) from the end of the template defence to adapt into a short email, asking the Court to put this in front of a Judge to grant your costs, due to unreasonably late discontinuance.

You do have to copy in the other side to emails and must have already filed a costs schedule.

They are just glad its over and not interested in doing anything further.   Costs schedule, may have been with the £700
bill they received recently? They wish to pretend it never happened now and move on.

Thanks for the heads up on the new changes regarding additional charges etc.
Seen that you have amended that again since.

Can I help you guys in any way though?  One thing they commented on was how cluttered the information
was on this forum. Searches find old stuff which is no longer relevant.

We have no control over how the search system works on this forum.

Everyone should use the sticky Announcements at the top of the forum. They are kept up to date, irrespective of their original posting date.

When searching one can choose to show "latest" first.  It is a drop down box.  The NEWBIE section is split into five so it is not necessary to read it all.  Page 1 is initial appeal, Page 2 is LBC through to court and set-asides, Page 3 is POPLA, Page 4 is debt collectors, Page 5 is successful complaints and acronyms.
