    Yes, that works.

Are you having difficulty with that Dropbox file?
If so, what is the problem?

They have just finished it. Dated tomorrow as its after 4pm.

    Next steps.

SAR the parking company,  (link from legal beagles I think?)
Find the name of the land owner and make a complaint.

Get pictures of the signage and complain to the main shop the driver used.

Then start compiling this into a defence.

Have I missed anything?  First time having to deal with court stuff. Everyone else I helped have dragged on a lot longer
than this or they have given up.

    Thanks again.

    (1) Find the name of the land owner and make a complaint.
    (2) Get pictures of the signage and complain to the main shop the driver used.
    (3) Then start compiling this into a defence.
    (1) Always a good plan, this is Plan A in the NEWBIE sticky
(2)These pictures will be useful at witness statement time when you send evidence - no evidence goes with defence.
    (3) Why not use the standard defence template which you will see is one of the first five announcements on the front page of the forum?

No idea on the actual signage terms. Been years since I have been to that shopping centre. Last time I went the upper floors
were for long stay parking so it seems that has changed.

30 minutes over so possibly pushing for the grace period, especially so as its a multi-story so obviously not parked for the full length
    of time between the photo's.

I have used the templates for the POPLA appeal but this is a first for legal so dont want to point them the wrong way.

Their forum registration has gone through, should they jump in here or keep behind the scenes? Although they popped over again
to do the AOS. Seems like we may have lodgers until this is settled... :)

Although they go home early not a night owl like me. Really want to get this right for them.

    Thanks.

    Sent SAR to TPS

Confused about contacting BW Legal.  Do they still email them? Says they should hold for 30 days but is this too late
because its gone to the court stage?

    Thanks.

It's too late to send a 30 day hold notice.

The vehicle keeper really needs to be running this thread, but please don't start a new one. No offence, but things get missed when there is an intermediary, and don't try to use this forum on a 'phone.

Please tell us where the alleged event occurred as it may have cropped up here before.

Whilst out photo-gathering, see if any of the store managers can help. Occasionally they have the power to request a cancellation even if they aren't the landowner. In any case, it doesn't hurt to let businesses know they have lost custom because of the antics of this unregulated parking industry.

Always complain to the landowner and the keeper's MP.

Please also get everyone you know, especially the victims, to comment on the government consultation on parking charges.

Private parking charges, discount rates, debt collection fees and appeals charter: further technical consultation - Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Citizen Space - Citizen Space

MPs across all parties referred to parking companies as rogues, scammers, and bloodsuckers, but now the MHCLG looks like it has been nobbled because the proposed charges now include fake debt recovery costs that the PPCs have not actually incurred.
Debt recovery companies offer a no win no fee service, or free to the parking company debt collection service, and our MPs need to be made aware that the PPCs are trying to undermine the parking bill introduced by Sir Gregg Knight in 2019 by getting fake debt recovery fees in through the back door.

When contacting MPs, warn them about this, and ask them to contact Robert Jenrick MP at the MHCLG, and Sir Gregg Knight, as well as asking them to bring this subject up for discussion in parliament.

The consultation is only open for another week.

Its Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre in the West Midlands.

Complaining to a shop is on the the list of things to do, they were in a shop selling items so were there for a very long time.

Can we say we will be calling them as a witness? Anyone had any joy on that side? Is that even possible?

The keeper lives on the phone and does not use a PC, hence why they were here again today.

They are here late afternoon/early evenings so can post directly.

With Forum members help I have helped several people with tickets, one failed POPLA* and they send the odd letter
every now and then I doubt they will risk court.

    Thanks.

@ POPLA appeal failed even though I pointed out the signage photo's they provided were at least 3 years old and before the
McDonalds had been overhauled with a different layout. I would have to be stupid to lose that one.
