We must NOT forget the  UKPC saga where they doctored phohots ?
UKPC just got a ban and were allowed to obtain data from the DVLA thereafter

We don't know how many fraud attempts were made by UKPC and how many people paid.

Why would a UKPC operative do this unless they were on commission

Any such attempt to defraud people is a ploice matter ... did that happen ?

UKPC should have been struck off for life but, the DVLA still provided data

One Parking Solution directors were convicted of dishonesty offence

And have also failed a very recent GIAA audit. The clowns are currently pursuing my 84 year old Father-in-Law for a dubious residential PCN. Sadly he isn't the RK otherwise I woud not have hesitated throwing his case into the pot.

Has his name been added to the Group Action against the DVLA, Molts?

I know you will have done, or will be about to do, the Government Consultation and I'm sure your friends and relatives have, too.

Literally no motorist can honestly say that they do not find PPC World a threat, or that they don't know someone who has had one, or ten, private PCNs when going about normal daily life.  It's a blight on Society, the way PPCs are being allowed to get away with what they do to people and the predatory way they operate.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I've filed one. Should I do a separate one for each PCN?

Yes, but I don't think he'll be eligible as he wasn't the RK on this occasion...his previous one is too old. I have a couple of others I have assisted I will approach for their permission to add.

Certainly have. About midway through. Will submit it in plenty of time before the deadline!

It seems to me that the Group Action won’t help company car drivers/car hirer’s etc. as their data will have been supplied to the PPC by a Registered Keeper which is usually a company?

No. Official bodies, such as Councils, Police, etc., get the data free of charge.

This action is all about the DVLA selling data to private parking firms.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.
