Crazy Cat Lady Chapter 5 - Trying to recover from the pandemic

It's pretty much an open secret that a large swathe of Tory MPs knew he'd be hopeless, but these concerns were over-ridden because they knew people would vote for him. The only driving force is the survival of their party & the rampant inequality which means their wealthy friends & donors prosper. This is why there will never be any 'levelling-up'. It is in their absolute interests to keep people under-educated.
F2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!11 -
What I would like to know is why it has taken so long for all this to come into the public view. It strikes me that someone is behind all the leaks and has a campaign going to get rid of him perhaps in revenge.Having said that I am no Boris fan and think he and many in Parliament have behaved dreadfully going right back to a certain Mr Cummings and the Scottish MP whose name I cannot remember who travelled the length of the country with covid symptoms. Our leaders do seem to think the rules only apply to others but then how many people do you know that didnt think the rules applied to them and used the slightest excuse not to do as they were told. I know there were several gatherings /parties around here that went on during lockdown.9

it it was Labour who abolished Selective Schools, and removed the chances for bright poorer kids to get on .

I know some still do ,but not as many .Unfortunately though most larger towns (not cities) still have selective schools & some have more than one. The story may well have been different if selective schools really did get abolished.7 -

Well I'm shocked. Well not really - not even remotely surprised. At least if I get it I am bound to have a fair idea where I got it from & that someone is likely to get a thick ear, well not an actually one but certainly a verbal one. I hope their foolish antics have not given it to their still very young children. You would think Boris would know better after he was so ill.
