if i freeze crusty bread would it still be crusty on defrosting?or would it have to go in oven to crisp up?
our local co-op always selling crusty bread off cheap at night.0 -
i find its usually still crusty when defrosted, but i like it warm, so pop it in oven so its just warm, makes it softer on the inside to me.0

My husband is a baker and he says that the sliced crusty bread (instore bakery) is yesterdays crusty bread sliced up , very rarely would it be freshly baked that day unless they ran out .0

don't think i'll be buying ready sliced anymore.0
