Yes they booked with different companies.
Does it really matter when sun master knew of this law, the point is they took our money for an all inclusive holiday which we we did not get, their page says all food and drinks day and night, they also did not tell us about restrictions if they had we would not have gone on that holiday!!!!!0 -

I agree that it's pretty poor but I do think they will rely on this if it does appear on the hotel description on the SunMaster website.Note: All stated facilities, amenities and services are at full hotel discretion and may be subject to change and additional measures. It's not really the hotel's fault as they are only conforming to local laws regarding serving alcohol in AI hotels.1 -

If the law was in place before the booking and they failed to mention it then it would be an omission which is classed as misleading.
If the durable information says free drinks and the law didn't come in whilst you was actually there then send a letter before action.
If they still don't pay it won't cost much to file through small claims to see if you have a claim. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -

And didn’t inform us, no one that we met in the hotel had been told of the restrictions , it caused quite a lot of upset and meetings with the manager, who just said it’s the law. Most of the people we met have had refunds for drinks they bought,
I think it's wrong of sun master to not state this on their website at the time of booking and they certainly should have.
But did you not do any research at all before booking like reading reviews or going to the hotels website?
Just remember in future to spend a bit of time researching a holiday before booking because there is so much that can go wrong and the place could have been a run down crack den for all you knew!0 -

In my next life when I am 12 years old I will be understand why I need another adult to make such decisions for me.
Or are you on an all-inclusive holiday already?1 -
