All inclusive holiday

If it's this place, their own web page mentions the restrictions.

Our point is that sun master still sold us the all inclusive holiday knowing about the drinks restrictions!!! And didn’t inform us, no one that we met in the hotel had been told of the restrictions , it caused quite a lot of upset and meetings with the manager, who just said it’s the law. Most of the people we met have had refunds for drinks they bought,

We didn’t look at their web page0

What was their definition of "all-inclusive" as that does vary quite a bit, and often, when looked at in more detail, does not mean "as much as you want to drink all day".Lynne011 said:Our point is that sun master still sold us the all inclusive holiday knowing about the drinks restrictions!!!
I am not sure, with it being a legal requirement, they would have to inform you. Although it would have probably been to their own benefit.Lynne011 said:And didn’t inform us, no one that we met in the hotel had been told of the restrictions
I am not sure why it would cause a lot of upset, and if it caused quite a lot of meetings, when he stated that it was the law, that would have seemed to have been wasting his time. They are not going to break the law no matter how many meetings you have with them.Lynne011 said:it caused quite a lot of upset and meetings with the manager, who just said it’s the law.
If you know these people well enough for them to have confirmed that they had refunds then you need to establish on what basis they had the refund issued and use the same reasoning. It may be for example that their package was worded differently, there was a different published definition of all-inclusive at the time of their booking etc. Once you have that information then you might be able to try and change the holiday company's mind, however as others have said, with it being a legal restriction put in place by the government I agree that it might be their get out of jail free card.Lynne011 said:Most of the people we met have had refunds for drinks they bought,2 -
Would they have known of this new law that did not take effect until after you arrived .

@JJ_Egan, from the hotel website, it refers to the law invoked in 2020
*The All Inclusive service of this hotel is subject to the restrictions of the Decree Law 1/2020, of 17th January, for the improvement of the quality of the tourist destination (BOIB no. 10 of 23rd January 2020).
Maybe Sunmaster have only recently corrected their page.1 -

Or are you on an all-inclusive holiday already?
However at least the guy who invented predictive text has now passed away.

That hotel has the same statement on the Sun Masters site that I pasted earlier.The_Fat_Controller said:If it's this place, their own web page mentions the restrictions.

It's quite possible that these people booked with a different company and not SunMaster.MattMattMattUK said:
