You sent them an email and after one working day they haven't responded?JustBee said:So I emailed a copy of my V5C on Friday 13th and haven't heard back from them yet. They sent me their form to fill in which I've ignored. They said they can't go ahead and the 30 days won't start until they get proof of who I am.
Maybe you should allow them a little longer. Remember, there is no profit in responding to Subject Access Requests. Perhaps their attention is elsewhere.4 -
I would have added redacted copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law , as well as a copy of the V5C
A copy of a recent energy bill and bank letter will suffice , with name , address and date clearly showing
They have 30 days to reply3 -
Thank you. I've sent an email to dcblegal asking them for the 30 days etc and there's a 10 day time scale for their response. It said you can contact them with their online form so I took a look and it's a 9 step page process that asks for financial info etc. That's a no go! Not doing that. I'll wait 10 days then!

I really hope you have done the Government Consultation and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.
You have 5 days to do the consultation. Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence. Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!
Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?). Gotta be in it to win it! Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.
Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.Thank you Coupon-mad, I've done both!On having sent the extra information, 2 bills and a bank statement redacted as advised (sent the V5C in a separate email before the bills etc on its own) I still haven't had confirmation from them that they've set the ball rolling regarding the SAR request. Aren't they meant to give acknowledgement? Am I being impatient again? Or should I just expect the SAR in 30 days from the date I gave them the extra information as proof of identity?1 -
Sometimes but very rarely, you will get an acknowledgment; they do have a calendar month to provide your data.2

If your parking charge is from 2017, how did you manage to get the group action claim website to accept your details, because it only deals with cases from late 2018 onwards?JustBee said:Coupon-mad said:And please tell us you know about these other two threads (below) and have done both required urgent tasks?

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I got to the stage of putting in my defense at the County Court but Burger King kindly emailed them and told them to cancel the case which they did!I have a thread about it on here and that one comes under the right timescale for the Group Action! It's a shame about this one being so old.3 -

I received my sar's request today by email. Three documents showing the parking invoice, a reminder and legal action pending. It says the free parking was for 2hrs and I went in at 09:43 and came out at 12:43. 3 hours? I can't imagine ever needing to stay that long at any service station. My bank shows me to be in a completely different town, all day.So on the reminder notice it shows the time I went in and out and also shows duration which they've put 2:59 and that would make those times in and out, out by a minute. They've also done the same thing on the legal action pending.Surely duration would state 3hrs not 2hrs 59 mins?I have been to that service station a few times and I've never stayed that long. I went on 3 Mar 2017 and returned once which is the day I thought the parking notice was for, then I realised this was for the 13 Mar 2017.I'm at a loss how to defend this!0
