Help!! I've bought a Nokia 6610 off eBay and am trying to unlock it. The seller says that it used to be on the T-Mobile network so I've tried getting codes from the http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ but I'm a bit confused as to which GEN I should be using. The only code I have tried (#pw+820781260141026+7#) didn't work.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Browntoa. Thanks for the quick reply! I've tried that code but it hasn't worked! Is there another one you think might be worth trying?

    Thanks!

No, I'm not 100% because the mobile's casing had no markings on it to indicate which network it was originally on - I just have what the seller said to go on.

It's the "Code Error" message I'm getting! Would I get this message if the phone is already unlocked (but then why would it reject my Orange SIM?).

    Thanks,

    Geraint

Thanks for the information! Have had a look on the phone under the MMS settings and it actually comes up as O2 and not T-Mobile as the seller said!

Sorry about this, I'll know where to check next time!
