It's the "Code Error" message I'm getting! Would I get this message if the phone is already unlocked (but then why would it reject my Orange SIM?).
Thanks,
Geraint0 -
lol you replied at the same time
what is the message with the orange sim in it?0 -
drahcir wrote:when you say "orange sim is rejected" does it say "sim registration failed"? if so its prob barred (unless you havent registerd the orange sim).
No, it doesn't actually say "Orange SIM is rejected", just "Insert SIM Card".
Maybe if I try an unlock code for a O2 locked mobile it might work?0 -
if it says "insert sim card" and youve got one in then either the sim card is faulty or dirty (clean the gold contacts on the sim with a rubber or try another sim) or the phone is faulty.
if its locked it should say "restricted" or similar0 -
The SIM works fine in my other Orange phone so it must be the new mobile that's faulty - got it off eBay so lucky it didn't cost that much!
Many thanks for all your help!0 -
