You are best to get a full factory reset performed on this phone, which will open a hidden menu in settings-phone section. It will let you choose from gsm (2G normal sim card) and dual (3G).If you don't you might have problems depending on your area.

It will do not any harm unlocking by code and seeing if you get a signal first on your chosen network.

Your code should be:
#pw+44 52 97 36 63 64 50 6+7#

Remove sim first, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Double check code before pressing the last #.
If it reads "Code error", don't try again!! Come back and tell us.
If it reads "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!!
Get back to me to let me know if it worked.
If you get 'code error' 5 times it is hardlocked,
it will need done by cable, but will still work with 3G

You'll need to take it to your local unlocking shop or local market. Need specialist equipment and they have to take you phone part and attach a jig to do this.

I have hardlocked my Nokia 3100 (locked to O2): I used the DCT4 calculator, which gave me 7 codes. Typically (!!) I input 5 of the wrong codes.

Any suggestions how/where to get handset unlocked: I am in Holmes Chapel Cheshire (CW4)?

Hi, I have heard that no one can unlock the Nokia 6680 on Three yet .... please confirm if this is still the case ... really like to unlock it so that I can use it on Vodafone. Please help

No solution yet apart from contacting threepay direct. Last I head they were charging £115 :rolleyes:

Equipment to flash it is now available, so soon i'm sure someone will get their hands on a solution for unlocking.

Hi today i have brought a nokia 6230 from tesco and it is connected to there tesco network, i want to unlock the phone does anyone know any codes or sites i can do this for free.
