sorry but could you help me to unlock a nokia 6230? i using vodaphone
i tried using the nokia free unlock calculator but I'm not sure what GEN is.
Also when should i use a Dct4 calculator and a Dct3?
hope someone can explain these 2 terms to me.

it's a DCT4 phone

the ASIC type is ASIC 6

the GEN is ASIC6

use the code ending in +1#

when I try and insert any code on my nokia 8210 it wont accept any code i enter because say i insert

*pw+**********+7#

it wont let me insert the final #

any ideas?

Hello

Ive never unlocked a phone before, and the previous threads seem a little advanced for me - I dont understand it!!

I have an old Nokia NK402 (orange) I want to resurrect as my 'internet' phone so all websites etc and junk type phone calls wont go to my private number, and have recently recieved my o2 sim card for free that I wish to use in it.

How can I unlock this phone, and can someone please give me easy to understand directions as Im simply clueless about phones!

I have tried to unlock my nokia 2600, but without any success

I have used the following combinations:

any one know what I have done wrong ??
