Just remember that if you are seen clutching coffee at the gate, you are likely to be prevented from carrying it any further ... so don't be seen !
I usually buy my Mocha at Pret and have them put it in a paper bag on top of a handful of napkins all inside a polythene bag with something to keep it upright0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

I just hope we havent interupted a major "Peter Baker Investigates" scoop, forcing comments on the much more trivial "Ryanair cabin crew in 3p swindle" expose:rolleyes:Peter_Baker wrote:PS stoneman, 149 on Easyjet max, but could have been 189 on Ryanair !
Could this be the great Boing+Ryanair 737 seat rip off ? The OFT (or Peter:p) should investigate the formation of a cartel where competing airlines are being supplied with the same plane but with 40 less seats. A bit like paying for a King size Mars Bar but only getting a standard one0 -
So you pay an extortionate price (for your bottle of water) before you've even boarded the aircraft!
No, help fight against the "Goverment and WHSmith in collusion for £2.99 bottled drink!" scandal!
Take an empty bottle of water through security, fill it at an airside tap, tadaa - free bottle of water.0 -

Ryanair and EasyJet are supplied with completely different planes.
Ryanair has a complete fleet of Boeing 737-800s with 189pax.
EasyJet has Boeing 737-700s which only carry 149pax but most of their fleet are Airbus A319-100s which carry 156pax.sorry no links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20 -

Thanks evesham1988la , goodness Peter really is on to something here. They arent even giving Easyjet the latest model ! Selling old stock !
This makes the Asda/ Morrisons milk scandal pale in significance.
Well done Peter:T:T:T0 -
Whilst standing at the gate waiting for the Easyjet to taxy in I also noticed something odd about how it looked ... it seemed to be very dumpy and too small for its tail! Not full value at all! Then it dawned on me ... it's a good 5 metres shorter than Ryanair's! Its only got two overwing exits not four, and consequently only eight seats over the wing with some improved legroom, not twelve!
Yep ... Mars Bars all over again , and as budgetflyer suggests, even though they are supposedly no older than Ryanair's, you can easily see that Easyjet's are kind of rust-coloured on many surfaces :eek:0 -

Nor me, it seems they are compelled to spend money as soon as they walk in to an airport/board an aircraft.0
