Ryanair Short Changed

Anyone who buys over-priced refreshments on such a short flight deserves to lose their change.0

I agree. I always buy a bottle of water once through security that will last me both the short flight and the onward transfer to my destination so I never actually have to buy the extortionate prices onboard aircrafts.
Most airlines will accept the payment in one currency and then try to give you change in the currency of the country to which you are heading. I've never had a problem with this due to the small number of times I have actualy bought anything. It is the same anywhere that does this, you will get an exchange rate that is obviously in the companies favour and not your own."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

So you pay an extortionate price (for your bottle of water) before you've even boarded the aircraft!0 -
On EU flights I never buy anything at an airport, nor on board an aircraft, everything is grossly over priced.0

Yes. I buy a litre bottle of water once through security. I used to bring a bottle of water with me but since I can no longer do that I prefer to buy a bottle of water at, yes a more inflated price than what I could buy it on the outside of the airport but it still works out cheaper, and lasts me a lot longer than one small glass of water/cup of coffee/whatever purchased on the plane at grossly inflated prices. Common sense to me."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Once air-side it's always a good idea to have a look at W H Smith and see what is being given away by various newspapers. Last time we travelled out of Stansted you could get a free bottle of water if you bought the Daily Telegraph for 75p. The same bottle was on sale in the shop for £1.25.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

I make good use of the cheapo flights, do pay top whack when I have to but honestly, change has always been bought back to me. I do not recall ever having to remind the cabin staff. The drinks are expensive but I have given up clutching a "hot coffee " with my passport/boarding pass/handluggage, coat, magazines ,elderly Mum etc., I am fair worn out by the time I flop into my seat and just long for the Crew to start serving - wish it was a bigger cup though!SallyD0
