I was under the impression that that I'd have to enter this in the UK PLF before I arrive back. I have just tried to complete the form but there is nowhere on it that I am asked to provide this.
So where and at what stage do I get asked for proof of having booked a day 2 test?

I went back and I can't see it. I haven't submitted it as I haven't even left the UK yet. But looking through the form, it is nowhere.
Do you meet the COVID-19 vaccination eligibility criteria for reduced isolation and testing requirements? Yes

As long as you have answered the questions honestly (and I don't see a reason for you to not have done so, just highlighting this), then this will be acceptable.💙💛 💔0 -

Testing after you arrive in the UK
I don’t think you can’t get to this section until you have entered your travel dates , which can only be done 48 hours before you return. You will get this question-
Are you required to book a COVID-19 test package for when you arrive in the UK?
- if you answer NO you won’t get the box where you must enter Your test booking reference. If you answer YES you get the box .1 -
You fill the code in on the PLF you complete to return to UK ( which you complete in Greece before returning) not on the PLF you complete in Uk before you travel to Greece.
The question about reduced isolation and testing is what you need for entry to Greece.

I just wanted to try entering the code I got when I booked the day 2 test. I wanted to make sure it works before I go out there.0

Just to add on a earlier issue. The DoT have a video on travelling back to UK which also quote 3 days

Just got back from my 5 days in Athens and just wanted to say that the process was nowhere near as complex (or scary) as it's made to appear. There were no delays at the airports, just some extra checking. My double vaccine pass was hardly checked, as were the PLFs both ways.
The hotel I stayed at had a list of places that do testing and I picked one nearby and did a flow test for 15 Euros and the result arrived by email an hour later. This was checked casually as I entered the gate on departure and not again when I arrived in the UK.
Other than the wild fires nearby, everything went as normal.5 -

Thank you for returning to update the thread with your experience. Very helpful.2 -
Am very confused am fully vaccinated & disabled, so can’t queue a long time.
I will get pre return PCR Covid Test done in Switzerland prior to departure for Manchester.
But need Day 2 PCR test, where is it best to get PCR test done?
Order it now ready to do at home when I return?
Or
Order one to be done at Manchester Airport, bearing in mind my disability & inability to stand too long in a queue?Has anyone already done this & what’s their best advice?
Also who have most people booked with for the kits of tests?
Who was most reliable, seems to be quite a big difference in costs?0
