What are your thoughts on this reply from DVLA to my MP’s letter...?  We knew this anyway but comments appreciated.

Bog standard template response, just slightly adjusted from the drivel they send to individual motorist when they complain. Shows utter disdain, even to MPs. They must really believe the crap they spout.

They were never 'offences', and if the DVLA, as the gatekeepers of motorists' personal data, believe that motorists commit 'offences' on private land, it's small wonder they offer personal data to all and sundry - and in this particular case to a convicted criminal - it's frightening and abhorrent - and your MP should be asking much more searching questions now!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read it.  Also found loads more. Very interesting in Companies house with his many new companies using slight name changes then dissolving after 3 months. (Peter Nino Ricardo Del Grosso) Raises questions of falsely claiming start up grants, loans or vivid grants etc.... such a scam artist.
Now his interests lie in ‘land management’.. even more misery to cause no doubt.

Yup, should be laws against them dealing with public.

All his companies had ‘0’ employees.  Incl Autosec...  Also raises the question about keeping personal data.   He can’t deal with all these himself, surely his henchmen if self employed should be BPA certified?

That is exactly the same as I received from my complaint to Graham Stuart too. He got a bog standard response from BPA too.

When I discovered all of this I contacted the Management Co and told them I wasn't comfortable with a racist thug having access to our common areas. I naturally wanted him removed and threatened to contact every owner and occupier. After weeks of attempted fob offs that's how I finally discovered he was selling up and in their words 'looking for a final pay day by revisiting old tickets'

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • As said above ..... "the DVLA are the gatekeepers of motorists' personal data"

The whole of the parking seems to to be a mafia style operation

This is an old BBC video and the ony thing that has changed is a ban on clamping.
Nothing else has changed in the last 10 years and in the video you will see the DVLA and the BPA waffle on ..... just as they do today

An MP stated this last year in the HoC
