Fruitcake said:I have just knocked up a set of visual aids to include in my next trio of complaints. This takes the reader through a series of images from the PCN photo via GSV images and maps, to the Service Agreement map to show unequivocal proof that the car was stopped outside the area VCS are contracted to operate.
The GSV camera car took a photo from exactly the same spot as the VCS camera car, so there can be no argument that they are the same place.
I shall probably visit the site in the near future because the service agreement shows there are no signs in the access road prohibiting stopping. There are no signs showing on GSV, but the images were taken before VCS infested the site, so I need contemporary images to show it is still the case.
When you look at Courtserve you sometimes see how much reading time that a judge has for each hearing. It's often only about ten or fifteen minutes. I am not surprised that one judge asked for only three defence points. This is where images come into their own.

I wonder what judges do about very long WSs, mainly from PPCsYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.3

This is where images come into their own. This is very good and much appreciated advice - giving a judge visual evidence in colour, I am sure helps - more often than not a picture tells a thousand words. I've experienced how (in my case) BW Legal produced A4 sized photos of a main sign (actually from a different car park!) but conveniently forgetting (??) to include the signs that sit on top and below the main one written in fonts so small that you'd need more than twice any 'implied' grace period just to read, let alone understand.
Good Luck @Fruitcake, I'm sure you won't need it however, and thanks for your advice on so many other threads.3 -

It's one of the occasions where I think it is a shame that my relative's MP is not Rees-Mogg.
In this instance I was serious. Mr R-M is one of the few MPs who actually understands the unregulated parking industry.
So far so bad. I have had a reply from someone at the airport who is seriously deluded because they believe VCS operate in a fair and unbiased manner, and the IPC operates a fair appeals system. They also believe the DVLA and IPC audit the company they have selected, after contacting several other airports to find the one that will do the best job.
The lady who contacted me has completely missed the fundamental issue that the car was stopped outside the area their agent is contracted to manage. I have replied, asking her if she has actually looked at the contract, (thankfully provided by ginger_bread_man on his thread last year), because it clearly shows the car was outside the patrol area.
I have also found that there are no VCS signs on the access road where the car was stopped, giving further proof that it is outside the contracted patrol area.
My relative is going to drive his son back to Scotland next week as he has refused point blank to visit the airport again.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -

I have never used the car park where I was ticketed again. This is why I really feel for the posters who have issues with their own car parking spaces. When it's your residential space you have no choice. At least I have the choice to avoid all Excel and VCS car parks in future.

This lady seems to be living in cloud cuckoo land, just the same as Roadchef ?
