A little exercise is probably a good idea but so is rest. Take it easy if you can! Could you get advice from the doctor or a pharmacist? I'm still tired from the cold I had for a couple of weeks, but not as much as you are. Some of these things are so debilitating, aren't they?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Don’t try to do too much while you’re still feeling rough. Your body needs rest. Get Fit With Rick walking workouts on You Tube are good ones to get some steps in indoors but obviously not if you still don’t feel great - behave yourself 😆
Hope you feel better soon 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Cherryfudge - I have felt so much better today, not so much coughing but still tired, mind you I've been looking after dgc today and promptly fell asleep in a comfy chair when they had all gone 😃

Makingabobor2 - yes, I did do a couple of tests at different points but they were both negative! I have to say I haven't had COVID yet ( there's always time I suppose or I'm very lucky) and sometimes I do feel a little left out 🤣🤣. Youngest DD thought I might have got it so I did the first test to put her mind at rest and the second a day or so later ,but no that was negative as well🙂

Sun_Addict - I'm honestly feeling so much better today, I woke up without a headache and I can sleep without being propped up and the cough has nearly disappeared!!!! Considering I haven't been able to hold a decent conversation for a couple of weeks, it's like an overnight recovery 🤣🤣 I'm still tired but I'm taking it as a huge plus 🕺I'm going to investigate Get fit with Rick when I'm fully awake in the morning, thank you.£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund4

Thanks everyone for the concern, I'm certainly feeling lots better today but I'm still not quite upto climbing mount Everest yet but I'm certainly getting there now😃
Today eldest daughter dropped my 3 dgds and older dog off at mine at 6.30am this morning as they were going on a very special day out. I'd already put warm hot water bottles in their beds, so they went straight upstairs and went to sleep!! Eldest Dgd was working from mid-day on, so I woke everyone up about 10.45am got them into the car and delivered her to work, but she'd locked the front door for me so we had to go back to where she worked for my key 🤣🤔🤣 anyway all was well, lunch was had and the youngest dd came for a visit so they all the dgc played together whilst we had a couple of drinks and a good chat!! Eldest came back after their special day out, stayed a bit for baby cuddles, they gathered their children up and went home and 5 minutes later youngest dd did the same. I made a drink sat on the settee and promptly fell asleep for an hour 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So I think a good day was had by all. I did cook my dinner etc but that's why I'm still up - I'm wide awake from all that sleep 😃
I'm decided I'm going to clear the draw of doom out when I get up, its the usual one, full of paper useless and useful, and lots of bits of all sorts and bits and bobs, so that's the plan as I can sit in the front room with it on the pouffe and watch a dvd at the same time🙂
No money spending today, and I should be ok tomorrow as well. I'll have to make a bit of a menu plan to see if I have to spend next week and then try to ignore it and go without!!!!🙂
Better go up to bed

Had a small change of plan and sorted out the dvds, and I now have a bag full to deliver to the charity warehouse when I pass that way. So that's one of my 'intentions ' underway.
Tomorrow I'm on my own all day, so I'll be going to the garden centre for my 'free' coffee and a look round for some ideas and another draw of doom will be sorted, it may be the Welsh dresser drawer and then on Tuesday I may attack the Welsh dresser cupboard which will be more work and some hard decisions! I feel as if I'm on a roll and have to make the most of it.
No money will be spent today, so I may make it to Wednesday having spent very little, but I'll probably need it all later in the month as I start to run out of things. It'll be interesting to see if I actually manage it.

How do you get free coffee from garden centre? Is it a loyalty card or something? Is it the D*bb**s one?Making the debt go down and savings go up
