Today I have been feeling sorry for myself and coughing a lot🤣 I did manage some veggie prep but it's not cooked, for lunch I started to make broccoli soup but got carried away as usual and it ended up as a bean casserole🤣🤣🤣, so there's left overs for tomorrow and then the veg will be used Wednesday.
I seem to have slept today away and I'll be going up after I've finished this I'm so tired, I'm trying to listen to my body but when you have things to do it's difficult. So the Xmas decorations are still everywhere but at least I haven't been out so I no money spent. Eldest DD phoned me from the city and said it was 'dead' , she only wanted some new trousers, for her new job she starts Monday, but couldn't find any up there, she'll probably have to go to a retail park as there are more clothes shops there.
That's it for me, I'll just get a drink to take up with me for when I start coughing in the night.

I'm not sure if you've had the bug I had, but it tired me out for a few days. Better now, though I'm told I'm snoring!
Broccoli soup/ Bean casserole for two days is a good achievement, though I think rest is needed.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Hope you get a good nights sleep, and feel better soon. ((hugs))I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Cherryfudge - I feel as if I've taken a backwards step the last few days, but I am taking it easy and although I can breath easier, I just feel tired and complete rubbish. Roll on next week.

Chrystal - i had a really good sleep last night, only woke up a couple of times, I'm sure I'll be fine soon, you can't knock a determined old bird off it's perch, well not me anyway 😏 I keep thinking if I didn't take vitamins and eat good food I might have been a lot worse off.

Just a quick one as I'm just waiting for the kettle to boil so I can take a hot drink to bed with me. I haven't been out at all, not even to get the grey bin in and the pup has had to amuse himself outside in the rain ( it's a good job I have quite a few trees and a good mop🙂) I just wish it would stop raining for a little while anyway, tomorrow if I feel up to it I will go to youngest dds to take the dog back, I'm not managing with him being here as much as normal, and I know youngest dgs has chicken pox but he's feeling a lot better than I am!! And then I can call into fat club on the way back home but it all depends on how I feel. I might just give it all a miss.
Signing off, see you all tomorrow.

Yesterday I was just too to tired to post! This bug is taking me longer than normal to shift and I just seem to be exhausted all the time 🙁 so I've been thinking I may have to start being more mindful with my health and well being. To that end I need to start walking again to improve my breathing, keep losing weight - about another stone to lose - and think about 'doing' what I want. Trouble is it's easier said than than done! Well for me anyway 🤣
Yesterday, I slept on and off all day and last night I was coughing an awful lot and woke up this morning with a crushing headache, which cleared after the pills started working! I am feeling a bit better everyday which would be excellent if I wasn't so tired. Next week I'll be back to normal, I'm determined to draw a line under it!!
So everything is more or less on track, although I do sometimes wonder why I bother! I know we're all in the the same boat one way or another and all support each other really well, but I look at other people buying 'stuff', going on holiday, having new furniture and having work done in/outside their house and can't understand how they 'do' it!!!! They must be on really high salaries or have large private pensions!! (Or maybe maxed out credit cards!!!) Guess what neighbours have been doing.

You could do laps around the downstairs rooms--little and often. You can stop and sit down whenever and you keep dry indoors! Also march on the spot whilst waiting for kettle to boil. It all adds up.5

Pollie - I dont know why I haven't thought of that before now, as I used to do laps around the downstairs and go/down the stairs for extra exercise in the lockdowns. I will start tomorrow and see how I go, thanks

Perhaps only do the up and downstairs when someone else is in the house.3
