That was the only two options they gave me and the monthly DD would have being over £114 or £84.

Anyone been switched have their smart metering work straight away? Mine hasn't worked since the 14th when EON decided to retrieve their own final value and enter it as a 'manual' reading. Also broke my integration with Hildebrand Glow.
I also cant send them manual reads as they want a Day/Night value and I dont have the menu option on my smart meter (Elster AS300P - it's supposed to have a 'General' menu but I only have a 'Utility Menu' and can only retrieve a total cumulative value).

Utility companies are hiding their rates that relate to the price cap. Utility companies don't want new customers on price capped rates as they are losing money with every customer on those price capped rates.Someone please tell me what money is0 -

Logged on this morning and website has message that we're mid switch to "next".
Fingers crossed it's a seamless transition!! 🤞🏻😉How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
Told me it could be up to 6 weeks before smart readings start coming through. What a joke 😅1

The whole reason the system thought we were behind is because Eon were slow to set up the DD if it now takes 6 weeks to take readings, I wonder if will get some more surprise bill shocks in the future.
Might be an idea for these energy companies to have to charge half price whilst sorting out new plat forms or systems, they would then be sorted in hours rather than weeks and months.0 -

During that time, is there an option to submit manual readings to the new platform? Just to keep on top of things. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -

It's already on the DCC systems so there's no good reason a transfer couldn't be quick and seamless except the whole smart metering and support by companies is abysmal.0 -

Do they need both readings because you're on Economy 7?How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0
